Wanted a stylish rainbow design for myself, something to splurge on, and on her website she had lots and lots of samples and hairstyles to choose from, for inspiration I guess, I I selected a rainbow style, and rather impressively she had a price and the ability to prepay, which I've *never* seen before... went for it. Well I got that stylish rainbow design, with raindops, I LOVE IT, but the thing is... it's artwork that hangs on the wall. Not what I was expecting out of a hairstylist.. I guess is the silver lining is this will last longer? read more

I don't know why I keep coming back any more than I know why she demands payment half in cash, half in chicken hearts. Now you might say, Sarah, it's really hard to come up with that many chicken hearts, but counterpoint, it's also really hard to find someone willing to make the carpet match the drapes. One constructive critique: if you're gonna work up close with people, there are all manner of pills and liquids and lozenges to quiet down your gas, Ursula. When your belly is 12" from my ear and I can hear the nascent farts rumbling around inside you, it's damaging to my overall customer experience. Play all the new age disco rap you want, I will still be able to feel your fart tremors on my cheek when you press up against my face in that way you do. (Also, is that really necessary? You smell like old cheese.) I guess this place is okay enough, but there are some real drawbacks. read more

Horrible experience. She kept muttering about ancient alien astronauts and checking outside. The whole appointment took THREE HOURS and no doubt two of those went into looking up at the sky in the front of the salon and making what she said was the latest trend. IM SO PISSED! it turned out to be a foil helmet!!! What the Eff am I going to to do with an aluminum hat? I thought I was getting some amazing unicorn extensions of some sort... what a disappointment. When I see alien abduction prevention attire on the cover of VOGUE is when its the end of fashion and the world as we know it. Oh, and what's worse?!? She said it should work MOST OF THE TIME?!? WTF? Like, who even tested that shit? SMH Do yourself a favor and find a stylist who isn't paranoid ancient aliens are taking over. If I want to be abducted I'll use my own telepathy thanks read more

Now this is a story all about how My hair got flipped and fucked around I'd like to take a minute just sit right there I'll tell you all about how she fucked my hair In South Wellington, born and raised On the playground is where I spent most of my days. Chillin out, maxin, relaxin all cool And all shootin some bball outside of the school. When a hairdresser who was up to no good Started destroying hair in my neighborhood. I should have known better than to go to Ursula again after the fiasco last year. I needed a quick updo for a holiday party and while I will admit that I was an hour and a half late and brought 6 of my 8 sugared up kids- she had the nerve to only spend an hour with me while I made her redo it twice. Her next client was rude AF as well. So what if my kids were climbing all over the place and I was cutting into her appt?! Have some patience! She rushed to finish my style and it showed! I clearly asked for 4 ponytails and only got 3. read more

STAY AWAY! Ursula Goooooooff gave me RICKETS!!! I went to see Ursula in 1842 to find the best cut for wearing my newsboy cap. Her shop must have been really dirty because the next day my bones softened and now I have to use a cane or ride around on Papa's shoulders. If it weren't for Mr. Scrooge's paranormal-encounter induced motivation to bankroll my GoFundMe I'd be DEAD and it'd be URSULA GOOOOOOOFF's fault!!! God bless us, every one! -Except Ursula Goooooooff because she gives people RICKETS!!! 2 Stars, the cut wasn't bad. read more

I traveled out of state hours out of my way to visit this salon only to find out that she only does rainbow/colorful hair by appointment. Like seriously, that is all she shows on her website and Instagram but what I want is important too. I can't believe she refused to do the country mullet with biolage ends that I wanted. read more

I can't believe I actually have to give a star to be able to rate someone... that's ridiculous! Anywho, I came to Ursula with only the realest expectations. I explained to her my love of Unicorns and Mermaids, you know all the beautiful looking mythical characters and that I demanded to look as close to one as possible. Well I guess we had some miscommunication because I came out looking like a freaking Chimera. People keep telling me my hair is wildly imaginative, implausible, or dazzling..... Ok, so... 1. She gave me the wrong cut. 2. Incorrect shampoo. 3. I didn't like shampoo. 4. She removed my mustache without my permission! 5. I went in like a man. 6. Walked out looking like a donkey that tried to blend in with zebras. 7. Um, apple scented isn't manly at all. Wtf? 8. How can I put mustard on this review if she can't give me the perm I came in for?! 9. My face is as smooth as a pane of glass. 10. My skin is as hydrated as a stick of butter on a summers day. Where do I begin?! Worst experience ever. I asked for basic bitch hair and she gave me the COOLEST rainbow hair EVER. It actually went viral. I just want to be basic not extra. She began by explaining color theory and breaking down the science of color....who gives a shit?! Just make me basic AF. Then she did all sorts of treatments to my hair to make sure it stayed healthy....again, I DGAF, just make me basic. She spent all day pampering me and making my hair extra....why?! I'm like the most basic white bitch and I love my Starbucks PSL's, UGGS, posting shameless selfies on IG, and taking a million duck face snaps. So, like my hair looks amazing and she was like super rad and stuff but like I look so extra and everybody stops me and says "your hair is amazing". Like, I literally can't even step out my front door without everyone wanting to take pics of my hair. Ugh. read more

I really wanted to just have someone brush my hair. You see in Kansas we get these tornado things and I just happened to be in one one day and my hair got tangled up real good and my brush made out of my cows fur was gone on account of that there tornado, so you can reckon I just really needed my hair brushed and so I came into this here saloon and they said "ma'am, we don't serve milk here" and I said "well that's good cuz all them cows are gone on account of that there tornado" and they said "we ain't got no hair brushes neither" so I says "okey." And left. 1 star. Still can't find my damn cow read more

Cute place but things got odd and irritating quick. Prior to my service she wanted to know my blood type and if I showered prior to my service. Okay, that's fine, I'm sure there was a purpose. She was wearing this cheeseburger dress that I just HAD to know where she found...I like cool stuff too. She basically told me to go F myself. Okay that's fine, maybe she doesn't like to share fashion secrets. All I wanted was my thin blonde hair to look like Kim Kardashian's just more rainbowish. I had 45 min and $50. Plenty of time and money for a color and extensions! She'll say, of course, she *nicely* explained that my expectations were unrealistic. What she actually said was much worse. She told me I had more hair on my big, ugly toes than on my actual head. I asked her to color my toe hair but apparently that was outside her spectrum of services offered. I can do it myself at home anyway. read more

DO NOT USE!!!@!!!! USES SQUIRREL PHERAMONES IN HER HAIR DYE!!!! I thought i was going in for a cool new doo. Well LITTLE DID I KNOW what Ursula THE WITCH had in store for ME!!! She asked me what I wanted done, and I told her that I really wanted some tie-dye hair. Something cool. I told her all about my busy life, and how nuts it was lately. I said that I wanted to date, but I needed a boyfriend that could keep up with me. She worked on my hair the hole time I chattered. I thought we were really getting along. (She seems like the silent type. Although she was doing this weird quiet chanting while coloring my hair.) She was getting ready to unveil my new doo, and told me before hand that all my wishes would come true now. She actually did a great job on my hair, but now I attract squirrels where ever I go!!!! At first I thought it was my imagination. But no, I can't walk by a park or tree without the squirrel boys flipping their tails at me and trying to jump on me!!! I just KNOW that she put squirrel pheramones in that hair dye!!!! It couldn't be anything else!!! I can't seem to get away from them!!!! AVIOD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! read more

I came to see Ursula at her "salon" if you will for a root touch up. Most stylists see a root touch up as a COLOR touch up. Much to my surprise, Ursula said she knew just what to do and began TOUCHING my roots while humming the tune to "Gypsy" by Fleetwood Mac over and over again in my ear. After many minutes of arguing that I wanted my roots touched up with color and not just "touched" I finally left and went to find someone else who would know what the heck they were doing. Will not be seeing her again, unless I want another scalp massage. 0/10 for root touch up 15/10 for head massage read more

I saw Ursula's work in Vogue Magazine, so I booked an appointment. When I got there, her receptionist took one look at me and said, "Oooh, Urs LOVES monkeys! Take a seat!" Ok, I'm kinda hairy, but I'm no monkey. Anyway, I'd been called worse, so no big deal. This being my first time going to a celebrity stylist, when it was my turn I asked what she recommended for my hair. She smiled and said, "You're a monkey! I'm going to have so much fun with you! Now, take off your shirt." I thought she was joking. I said, "Funny, I'll just take one of your famous rainbow do's, any way you like." Just then two large, very intimidating men came over, and shook their heads as a hint not to run. They held my arms to the chair, and Urs ripped my shirt off. I was about to scream, but one of her goons knocked me unconscious. When I came to, I found myself naked and locked in a cage. Ursula said, "You're my cute little rainbow monkey! Now be a good monkey or no bananas!" NEVER AGAIN! YOU'RE LUCKY TO GET ONE STAR, URSULA!!!! read more

This was an experience.... I wanted colorful hair, instead she said that she would give me legs if I gave her my voice... I got longer legs out of it though, so that's nice... read more

Hi, my name is Becky. I went to Karma salon because I read about this rainbow hair girl on the internet. I have SEVERAL complaints: 1.) I was here for hours AFTER being told my hair was too "box dyed" to get done in one setting. If I want to look like Kim Kardashian, then make me look like her. My dad is paying good money. 2.) The pop machine had no diet soda.. Wtf?? 3.) I think I got some red hair dye on my Uggs. Thankfully they weren't my new pair, but still.. 4.) I think that short, other rainbow haired girl stole the bottle of vodka out of my purse. 5.) During the whole appointment the chick kept talking to me, about myself, and like my opinions... Like I talk to staff.. 2/10 would not recommend read more

Long time Instagram follower, first time attempting an appointment. My hair needed some serious help and I had 24 hours before the company holiday party. I sent a DM explaining my situation and Ursula kindly offered to walk me through an "easy" hair resurrection techniques, simple do-it-yourself cut, and blowout. I thought, wow! So glad I didn't have to hope on a plane to get the amazing hair I see her posting everyday. Except, when it came time for the live stream, I wasn't aware that I needed more than my 4 yo's safety scissors and the trusty roll brush I've had since high school. Major disappoint. read more

Asked for a mullet (business in front, party in the back), with a rattail. Easy enough, right? Ursula instead gave me a reverse mullet (party in the front, business in the back), with a gerbil tail. I mean, COME ON! Rat tails are bald, gerbil tails have hair! I was too much in shock to complain right there, and my debilitating phone anxiety prohibited me from calling the next day. I went to work with this crap, and everyone wouldn't stop complimenting me on it, which is AWFUL because I'm an introvert. Specifically the kind of introvert that does not like attention. AT ALL. However now I have to keep this hairstyle for at least 8 months, because I was voted "best hair" in our office holiday superlatives, and the plaque I received now stays on my office door until next year's voting. -92/10, would not get my hair cut here again. New to town...Stopped in today to try to get my 4 year old's bangs trimmed. Flew from California all the way to buttfuck for this supposedly amazing hair artist. I walk in and she refuses to service me unless I pay an arm and a leg. Literally. I expected such seeing as how I heard she eats children. But who am I to judge. I want pretty hair so I agreed to pay the price. She then yells out " Alexa play I fall to pieces" and as the patsy cline tune plays she goes to the back and comes out holding a chainsaw. Thus with a fiendish gleam in her eyes proceeds to saw off my arm followed by my leg, drool running down her lips she takes away my limbs. I'm only giving her one star because my hair actually does looks good, even though she ruined the rest of me. Worst part is she enjoyed one of my fingers for a snack while I was processing with color. read more

Haircut was ok but her incessant pro-Trump rambling and antisemitic jokes made me uncomfortable...

I had been following Ursula Goff for years on social media. What she doesn't show you is that she actually has a trained monkey in her shop. He seems like a nice novel idea at first, with a heartwarming story about how he was rescued from a circus. But what I didn't realize was that she will step away from the service to do other crafts of sorts, from the looks of it, voodoo or some other kind of witchcraft. She has the monkey apply your color, wash your hair and even cut it. Well, I guess he wasn't a fan of me because instead of color, the monkey applied feces to my hair and then had the gall to give me a thumbs up. I had to run out at that point because that is NOT what I signed up for. I would never trust anyone who employs animals in their salon, nonetheless let them have the artistic freedom to apply whatever they please to your hair. How anyone like this could be in business is honestly beyond me. read more
