Worst salon experience EVER. Hair was butchered TWICE in maybe a week, and i was threatened with…read morepolice by the owner. If you're blonde, or light DO NOT go to Jenny or Lily. i came into the salon to get my medium brown roots touched up to match my platinum blonde hair. I had an appointment with Lily and left with yellow, uneven roots, and pretty intense banding especially around my hairline. I then contacted the salon by phone and had no response for 3 phone calls. I live nearby so i drove over. I definitely was upset and had an attitude but even from the start i was just trying to kinda laugh through it and i had a very aggressive worker named i believe John (who is not a colorist) continuously tell me me what my hair needs, as well as say to me "they aren't just gonna give you a refund because you don't like your hair now." and after some choice words on both ends i was told to not come back. I then left obviously, got a text from Jenny to fix it (even though i just wanted a refund) and came in the next day to fix it. Jenny did a much better job, but not a good one. The color i was left with was this pastel yellow roots and banding, as well as uneven from front to back. I do also believe my hair was styled to conceal the banding and unevenness. I texted and called to no response for days. I bought a red ken purple shampoo and conditioner (which i was also later recommended to get a purple shampoo to "fix the fixed hair" and the shampoo definitely didn't take well to the roots, obviously not their fault, but you can visibly see the levels of blonde are different (rest of photos) especially towards and front and sideburns. the salon was closed until tuesday (it's currently thursday) and after calling yesterday 10 times due to no one responding to a single call or text message, as well as the door being locked at 11am when they are open from 10-5 with no explanation. (i believe the number is automated for texts) I finally got a call back today where i was told i could either have them tone it, dye my roots back to my brown color also done by them, or i could essentially just forget about it. I was also told by the owner that I was harassing them, and that a police officer client was there while i was calling (yet they still couldn't answer) and told them it was harassment. So not only essentially threatening me with that, saying they had it all on cameras and body also felt like a threat so now i can't go back in the owner also blurted out she'd refund only my tip and then she hung up on me and refused to answer the phone afterwards. I was beyond willing to work with them, and even gave them a second chance but why would i go back to have them fix it when they've screwed it up 2 times?? BEYONDDDDD unprofessional.

I made my appointment online through the style app which was convenient for a mom on the go chasing 3 boys all over the place. I scheduled to have my hair cut and colored by Joy. I've heard great things so I was excited for the day of my appointment. The parking lot is small but it has plenty of parking so no need to worry there. Joy greeted me as soon as I walked in. I tried to explain what I wanted my hair to look like, a task that's harder then you would think. She got it and OMG did my hair look amazing. My total came to $104 which was not a bad price for all that had to be done. I think I've found my new hair salon. If you make an appointment tell them Jen W sent you!

They were very friendly on the phone, answered all my questions and I easily got an appointment. I received a couple reminder texts a week and then a day before my appointment which I appreciate. Parking is good and the building is easy to find. The salon is huge and they offer so many services! More than I expected. I was promptly greeted and Madison came to get me and do my makeup. She asked a few questions and went to work! She was so nice and I'm thrilled with the results. I then saw Meaghan. She looked at a couple inspo pics I brought and had my hair up looking perfect in no time. Both ladies were not only personable but also very professional. They made me feel comfortable and I left extremely happy and most importantly, confident that I'd look nice for my event and not like a bridge troll. I could share pictures of these things, I could even share videos with you, but nothing I could share with you would equate to you experiencing these things yourself. And that is the case with the Couples Massage & Facial treatment at Iridescence Salon and Spa! Karen and Veronica provided our services. Karen performed our massages and Veronica our facial treatments. The expertise these ladies exhibited was exquisite! They both were very amicable and very professional. Karen provided me with an awesome massage while Veronica provided my companion with a facial treatment. My massage was firm and direct on the muscles in my neck and back as needed and then firm and gentle when appropriate. Karen is a Master at this craft. I would be remiss if I did not share with you that my massage was so relaxing, I dosed off to sleep several times during my massage and only awoke when I startled myself by the sound of my snoring! I was too comfortable to be embarrassed. In fact, I was told that slumber during a massage is a compliment to the level of treatment being provided by the masseuse. Well, if that is the case, I was full of compliments during Karen's treatment! When my massage was completed and my companion's facial treatment was done, Karen and Veronica switched tables. I then received the facial treatment as my companion received her massage. Veronica, not to be outdone by Karen, provided me with a refreshing, pore opening facial treatment. Veronica explained the phases of the treatment as she performed them. This was my first facial treatment at Iridescence, and it will not be my last. As I mentioned there are several steps involved in this process. When all was said and done my face felt clean, fresh, and vibrant. I know, that may sound a bit peculiar, but as I wrote at the beginning of this review, there are some things you must experience in person in order to gain the full and true appreciation of the event. The pampering we received at Iridescence Salon & Spa in York Pennsylvania is something that you must experience to completely understand!
