this place was great! they are very flexible, friendly and welcoming…read more the first time I went I had an awesome hair cut!! the next time I went there was just a miscommunication in the style I wanted. but they did a good job and they offered to correct the issue w/out me having to ask. just a miscommunication in style. i was originally told this place was for 'special occasions' but that is not the case at all. this place is very reasonably priced. i paid $42 for a wash and cut. it was an worht the cost. and if you get a good cut once, you can wait a little longer between cuts. this place does appt only. which originally turned me off... i imagined calling a singular person and having them open their 'salon' just for me. but they just have planned hours for each stylist and when i went there were at least three stylists there all working with clients. the store front is very unassuming. the interior is nice and charming. and the stylist was very experienced. they keep up to date on their training and the latest trends in their field. i have very thick hair and kim was able to thin out my hair without butchering it. she put in nice long layers (not like the layered ENDS only i got a super cuts).

When Stacy finished my trim (shampoo+ trim, NO blowout, NO product-- the appointment lasted 20 minutes total) and brought me to the front desk, the receptionist told me it will be $65 and asked what tip I wanted to add. I respectfully pushed back a bit, pointing out to her that I did not get a blowout/product and that their website states that women's cuts start at $43. The receptionist told me that there was a price change at the beginning of the year and it all depends on who your stylist is.... Im just bummed because the price change was not reflected on the website, and I did not have a choice on who my stylist was. I suppose this is a more exclusive salon, but I do hope that they fix their website to reflect their actual pricing. $78 gone. Lesson Learned.
