I had a basic manicure on Saturday with this technician and upon arriving home, some of the polish was bubbling and a few nails had blemishes on them. I was careful after he was finished and stayed long enough for the manicure to dry but he did put a very thick layer of overcoat on the nails to "protect" them. He seemed in a rush and left me at the station to allow time for drying my nails, but like I said, after ample time, several hours later I had blemishes on the nails. I returned to the salon and in sharing my concerns, Tyler went ballistic and told me regular nail polish doesn't last. I hate gels. He insisted this was my problem, but he would redo them just this one time. He proceeded to coat over the blemished nails and reapply more thick top coating and I waited another one-half hour for them to dry and again, makiang the blemishes even more apparent. I had my pedicure there with another technician and she was wonderful. Needless to say, I would not recommend Tyler. He only seems to want to do gel, acrylic or powder nails, none of which are healthy for your nails. I did want to mention that Anna did my pedicure and she was great. The nail tech did a very nice job and my nails look great. She was super sweet. So I booked an appt for today to get a pedicure. I was told that it would be $65 for a paraffin wax pedi. I wanted just regular polish not gel but was only given the gel option. This was with a different tech. She did a very good job and when she checked me out she charged me $80! For a pedicure! They don't post their services or prices so it's hard to know what you will pay. Not sure I will go back. Way more expensive than even Scottsdale salons where I used to live. Between the 2 services I paid $135 compared to $100 for both in Scottsdale.

Next time try listening to your customers concerns and stop trying to get them into something they don't want.

I have had two unpleasant experiences at this salon. The first was when I asked to a soft wave…read moreperm. The hairdresser used a smaller rod and I was left with a tight curly perm instead. The second time I went to a different hairdresser and had a lovely haircut. But as we talked, she said she could put some highlights in my white hair if I wanted them. I told her that would be nice, so she proceeded to put a cap on my hair instead of using foil, and pulled a lot of hair through the cap, then mixed a color (which we didn't discuss the color) and covered the cap with a black/purplish color. When she blew it out, my hair was white and black all over. She doesn't know the difference from a weave (what she gave me) and highlights (which is only a few bits of color on the crown). I've been putting color removal on my hair ever since, as I had pure white hair when I went to her.
