Found that CJ (had not met before) was open and I booked the appointment. I had not changed my short hair style for 25+ years, but in November 23 (now late April 24) I stopped getting my hair cut. Usually I would get it cut each month. My hair grows pretty fast. Well here in April, the wife was asking when I would get my hair cut and the daughter was encouraging me to get a mullet! Made the appointment to see what I should do. When I walked in, CJ was ready to go even though I was a bit early. I sat down and told my hairy tale to CJ and he suggested a scissor cut all around taking off about an inch. I had no idea what that would look like, but he is the expert so I went for it. 30 mins later, I get spun around in the chair and it looked great. Nice job CJ. Even the wife liked it, but the daughter was bummed it was not a mullet. I will be back and will make an appointment with CJ. Go. Get A Haircut! HAVE FUN!

The barber who cut my hair and beard appeared to be under the influence of something during the appointment. His hands seemed unsteady, he was talking nonsense throughout the haircut, and it was very difficult to feel comfortable or confident in the service being provided. The manager was nearby and appeared to notice that I was uncomfortable and having difficulty dealing with the situation, but no meaningful action was taken. At one point, I became so uncomfortable that I got out of the chair and tried to leave the situation. I asked the barber to help me speak with someone responsible or have someone come out from the office to address the issue, but that did not help much. The haircut itself was rushed and completed in about 20 minutes, and the quality was very poor. Another barber later tried to help fix the haircut, but while that was happening, the original barber came over and started speaking disrespectfully in front of me to the other barber about how the haircut should be done. Overall, this was extremely unprofessional and uncomfortable. I came in expecting a professional grooming experience and instead left feeling disrespected and unhappy with both my haircut and beard service. I hope management takes this matter seriously so this does not happen to other customers.

My 14 year told AJ what he wanted but with the years of cutting hair and expertise, he explained you can't have a perm front doucher cut with straight hair. So he could have a low cut fade but his hair needs to flow. We all agreed and he hit it out of the park. He did an excellent job. I even got to shop used surfboards next door and get a Cappuccino at Sur across the street. We just moved to town, so we are excited to have AJ be our local barber.
