Ordered carpet made into a rug. Did a wonderful job binding the rug and have had many compliments on it as well. Great staff!

Many lessons learned. A little over 1 year ago I had the flooring replaced in one of my rental…read moreproperties (living room only) and it was messy from the start. Glue slung on the trim, not caulked around edge of fireplace (so it looked like you could just reach over and peel it up yourself), and no transitional pieces so you could see the gap in flooring and how sloppy the edges were cut. After complaint, caulking was done (still looked messy) and transitional pieces put in. My tenant then moved in, 1 year later when she moved out and the flooring had settled I could see and feel several spots where there looked to be debris under the flooring. I called them back, a) because I wanted that fixed and b) because I wanted the SAME flooring placed in the 2 bedrooms. I was hesitate, but Shirley assured me they would have one of their best guys do the installation this time. The due date on the job completion was set for 7/27 as I had tenants set up to move in 8/2. A week or so into the ordering, Shirley calls me to tell the the delivery of the flooring is late, but that she would call me after she finds out what's going on. 5 days later when I don't hear back I text her to for an update and she responds with, "we can't install flooring we don't have". Yeah--well you are the one who was supposed to get me an update and I need this done. Couple of days go by and the flooring is delivered and scheduled for install. Day of install I have someone unlock the doors do they could enter, only to get a text that they would need to postpone because the installer was sick. Okay, fine. Things happen. Next day they come. No one communicates when they are done. Then after I reach out I'm told the transition pieces weren't put in (they also had to find new ones for the existing ones as I needed those replaced from scratches my tenant caused and they couldn't find the match, so had to be completely new pieces all around), so they would be in the next day to put in. Next day comes. "He couldn't make it over. It will be tomorrow". They then come back. Put in the transitional pieces, all BUT ONE. So they leave one piece that was scratched and doesn't match any of the others. So again, door needs to be open AGAIN THE NEXT day. On top of all of that, they chipped the molding that I had just had professionally repainted, but didn't say anything. Just left it be as if I wouldn't notice. When I reach out on that they tell me they'd like to have a painter they know come by and look at it. Did they!? No. And zero follow up on that as well. At this point I am done dealing with this company. It's 8/8/24 And I'm having the paint chipping fixed myself because to be honest, I don't want them in my properties at all. Forgot to mention, the first time they did work for me Shirley actually said to me that the installer said, "it's just a rental". Yeah. So I'm not a slumlord and I pay for the same work as anyone else! I'm so incredibly disgusted.

The absolute worst flooring and service you will ever experience!!! Since Match if 2023 they have…read moreinstalled and reinstalled our floor in multiple rooms three times and it is STILL coming apart! The owner has never once stepped foot in our house to see the damage to not only our floor, but they also ruined the trim in several of the rooms. He continues to lie and say "I'm waiting on the insurance". State Farm has already sent us the information for his claim and it was denied due to him not being properly covered. They have also tried to claim it is a bad product so Tarket sent out an independent inspector and we have a multi page report proving it is installation error, he also refuses to believe that report. He is now saying I have replaced your floor multiple times and am not going to replace it again. Just be warned if pay Jason at Carpet World to do your floors you will be someone else to replace them within months. He also hires contractors that smoke in your bathrooms while they are working at your house. We paid $7800 for nothing. This made us select a rating of at least one star, they need an option for zero

Truly white-gloved service from start to finish. Great selection of luxurious carpets. They were…read moreable to secure our desired carpet within a week and had it installed a few days later after it was delivered. They sent Dick Doyle out ahead of the installer team to review the scope of work. He was extremely professional and friendly, and let us know the installers would be arriving in 30 mins. The team of installers headed by Hayes Sheldon did a phenomenal job, as you will see in the photos, of installing the padding and carpet as well as the Z-bars (at the entry of the door) that we requested. After having such a great experience with them, we would highly recommend Casey Carpet One for your flooring needs.

Then we started noticing that the longer fibers, which had been twisted together, were starting to come untwisted. The carpet was Shaw brand, so it was a good brand of carpet. Finally, my husband called Lance, our sales associate and told him he was not happy with the carpet. This was 10 months after it was installed. Lance came out and looked and the carpet and agreed it wasn't performing as it should have been. He offered us a credit in the store for the full amount of the current carpet to get it replaced. We paid the difference and ordered a different carpet with shorter fibers. It just really means a lot to have a business care for us 10 months after the initial sale like Lance and Casey Carpet One did. I would definitely recommend them for your carpet and flooring needs!

We got 3 estimates for laminate flooring and chose the estimate by Larry Birchfield of A-1 Floor…read moreCovering Inc. because, at a little over $10,000.00, it was the middle estimate. We asked what would happen if the floors were not level because other people who had provided estimates had indicated the floors may not be level. Larry indicated it should not be a problem and if the floors needed to be leveled they would use leveling material. He also indicated they had previously done work at the La Tour. We jokingly asked if there were any senior discounts and he said something to the affect that if you are moving here you can't be doing that bad. Half of the estimated cost for the job was required and we put $5,000.00 down. My original intent was to place the down payment on my credit card but I was told I would have to pay an additional 5% if I used a credit card. The job was suppose to take about 2 and a half days and as we would not be there we arranged for access to the condo to be made available to the workers. A few days after work started and the carpets were removed we were told the floors needed to be leveled and sanded and the cost would be an additional $1,230.77. I said I would cancel the order and use one of the other companies and Larry Birchfield said a 20% fee and cost for the carpet removal would have to be paid if the order was cancelled. Rather than pay the 20% fee and start all over I agreed to allow A-1 to complete the job. I was also informed by Larry that he had not noticed the master bedroom did not have quarter round and that charge would be added. During our earlier discussion when he gave us the estimate he indicated the existing quarter round would be salvaged and only replaced where it could not be salvaged. Total cost for quarter round was $505.12. The total cost of $12,145.30 for the flooring was higher than the highest estimate originally received from the other company.
