I've consistently had very disappointing experiences at this office. In my personal experience, the…read morereceptionist is extremely unwelcoming--every phone call feels like an inconvenience to them. The tone is often irritated or short, which makes even simple scheduling questions feel uncomfortable. Please work on the front office staff and the people who answer the phone. There are PLENTY of people who would be happy to work at their capacity. I've also found that the bedside manner of the two doctors I've seen--Dr. Goldstein and Dr. Rosmarin--is severely lacking. Again, speaking only from my own interactions, they come across as unsympathetic and dismissive. Many times, it has even felt like I was being spoken to in a scolding or condescending way rather than being treated as a patient needing care. The remaining doctors are excellent. I dread to take my child knowing that one of the two are serving sick appointments. Yes, I could go else where but the remaining group is what has kept us there. I'm willing to wait to see any of them for a visit.

If everyone at Monroe pediatrics is like Dr. Jamie then we recommend them highly!!

I figured if she could trust Helping Kids Pediatrics with her kids, then I do not need to look any further. Now, 8 years later AND a county away, Drs. Jacobs continues to care for all four of our children. I can honestly say that they treat our kids like their own. Both doctors are like walking encyclopedias; with knowledge not only in their pediatric specialty, but also in various other specialties. Their expertise help new and veteran parents make informed decisions about their children's care. Dr. Elizabeth is also a Lactation Consultant, so for brand new mother's, this is such a blessing in one easy location! They are very responsive to any questions that I may have AND with any documentation needed (especially for school-aged kids). They are thorough during the examinations/visits and genuinely listen and care about parental concerns. The patient portal is also helpful and easy to use. In a nutshell, if you are a new parent, new to the area, or in the market for a fresh set of eyes, I would highly recommend Drs. Stanley and Elizabeth Jacobs at Helping Kids Pediatrics. You will not be disappointed.

We scheduled a visit prior to our son being born. The 2 of them spent over and hour with us answering dozens of questions and never once pushed for our commitment. After the meeting my wife and I were very confident in their abilities as physicians. They are parents themselves and this was evident right away. There was no doubt we were choosing them as our sons physicians. It has been 9 months and at least a dozen visits now and I am happy to report that our expectations have not only been met but exceeded. I would not hesitate to recommend this team to anyone I know.

That's when we switched by recommendation to Dr. Lau who at the time admitted my 2 yr old to the hospital but ever since we began visiting Dr. Lau my kids rarely if ever get sick anymore. Dr. Lau is simply amazing! You have to visit to believe but he knows his stuff and makes the correct recommendations for treatment. Oh and my 2 yr old loves him. She hates doctors but will let this doctor do whatever he wants, even getting an injection.

It seemed quite disappointing that each practice/person had similar feedback but no actual solutions. Some did not want to take my case only because it was not life threatening or what they considered as significant. So most of the times, I would get the brush off to not worry and call it a day... and as a parent, it is worrisome no matter the scale of the situation. On top of that, it was getting quite expensive to see various doctors. After months of frustration, I finally went to Dr. Lau in hopes for additional advice and recommendations. He was originally referred by a friend and I was expecting the same old feedback and whatnot. Plus he was not in my area so it was really not in the plans at all. To my surprise, I was SOOO GLAD we spoke; stars have a way of aligning themselves sometimes. It was a true blessing - he not only provided a different route to take, but he was so detailed with a lot of the topics that included explanations in 'easy-to-comprehend' terminology. It was impressive to hear of a medical professional being patient and giving in that way (especially these days, a lot of medical folks are trying to just hurry you out of the office, make a quick insurance buck and move on. Plus, they get all sarcastic because of how we try to look up stuff on Google, etc) . The real home run was his overall compassion in trying to be as detailed as possible, the time he took to provide the information and more importantly, they were REAL solutions. He added statistics/studies (yay for that) to back up his reasonings and he even gave samples to try out. Anyways, that just TOOK one conversation/one visit (even though it was lengthy, it was worth it). Furthermore, the specialists we were seeing had asked us to come back for follow-up visits (oh those darn co-pays were adding up!). At this time, all the other visits have ceased to but one - which is still good, by comparison. Results have been overall positive and coming along great...so very thankful for that. Moreover, in expressing gratitude towards him, I followed up with a quick note to tell him that things have improved. It was just an acknowledgment to him to keep up the good and compassionate work that he has been doing. Luckily I do not have to go back (and he was not even advocating it either) because I am not in the area anyways. Just want to put it out there to those who may feel hopeless, to just be optimistic and that something will always come up for the better. So amazing for us that it was Dr. Lau that we had encountered!

My children have been a patient of theirs since Lauren Van Buren was there, so Bambini has been a part of our family for a very long time. I genuinely love every single person who is part of this practice. Lauren, Jen L, Dawn and Dr. Miller have all played such an incredibly important role in my daughter's care. She has an extremely complex medical history, and they never stopped digging, advocating, listening, and looking for answers. They got to the root of what was going on, and because of their dedication and expertise, my daughter has continued to stay in remission since 2020. I will forever be grateful to them for that. And the nurses -- I absolutely adore them. There are so many nurses at Bambini who hold such a special place in my heart. They have cared for my children with compassion, patience, kindness, and genuine concern, and I will never forget that.
