Every single time I have used Yellow Cab instead of driving and parking and every time has been great. Make sure to call ahead of time to schedule your pickup or else that's on you. Even 5/6 hours in advance works fine. Every single time they are at my house on time and usually they are a little bit early. They always call when they are a few minutes away or if they get there early and just want you to know they are there. When they are early they sit and wait and don't seem annoyed while waiting. They all take credit cards but for now I took one star off because they are so far behind on technology (although this is Kentucky so what else is new) that they don't have card readers in the back that you run yourself. If they add those I'll come back and bump them to five stars.

At 8:45 pm we still had not heard from them and no one was answering the phones at this point. We had to scramble to find a ride to and from our party. Never again will we book with this company!

What I liked right away about Green and Orange is that, even on the Friday afternoon before the derby, they got a car to me within 15 minutes and texted me a confirmation from the driver's number. My first driver, Wesley, was great! He stopped off at the bank on the way to the impound lot so I could get cash for the sheriff to inspect my car and he knew exactly how to get to the lot. He drove safely and efficiently and made pleasant conversation about the city. He gave me his card and I wish I would have called him right back when I found out I had to go file paperwork before I could get my car, but I called the main number and got a terrible driver for the ride home. He tried taking me on a tour of the city instead of driving me directly home and went no faster than 20 MPH, trying to catch every red light. He then tried to charge me "derby rates" instead of what was on the meter and his attempt at making conversation was to tell me to smile more and that homosexual people were possessed by demons. I can't remember ever wanting to get out of a car more than during that ride. Wesley was a five star experience and Driver X was a one star experience, so Green and Orange gets three stars from me.

Uber is an easy app to load and set up on your phone. Whether you use it on a regular basis or not,…read moreit's a back up plan that all drivers should have at their fingertips. The app gives you an opportunity to enter where you'd like to go and see prices for the ride, by type of car. Larger cars are available for bigger parties. Once you've secured the ride you get the driver's name and location. You can also dial the driver in case of an issue (for example, some pick up spots are confusing). The app gives you an opportunity to leave tips and rate drivers. Overall, I've had a good experience with Uber. Most drivers have been friendly and make a comfortable spot; however, I do wish that Uber offered a discrete "block" feature for some drivers to ensure they don't pick me up again.

Highly recommend Stephanie as your driver! My husband was feeling tired and she made an unscheduled stop at a gas station for him to get a Red Bull drink. We had an amazing day and learned a lot about bourbon and enjoyed all of our three tastings and lunch. We booked the three tastings on our own since our group was particular about the places they wanted to go. I love that this company helps plan if you would like support/advice from a local to help you have a phenomenal day in bourbon country. We did the hard hat tour at Buffalo Trace, went to Limewater restaurant for lunch, J Mattingly, and Wild Turkey. My favorite was the J Mattingly tasting experience because it was so personal, intimate, and an unique tasting experience and I love the smaller bourbon places personally. It was truly a hidden gem!
