Lack of hygiene standards in Stephansplatz branch
I visited today, on 25.08.2020 at 08:30 your Filiale at Stephansplatz U-bahn.
I bought Roggen-bread there (from upper floor of this Filiale) and I also ordered rhabarber Brötchen, which was sold on the lower floor (where you offer breakfast and coffee). The employee from upper floor asked her colleague there to pack and bring rhabarber Brötchen to upper floor. I saw that the lady there was wearing gloves and she took and packed this Brötchen from me. BUT, I also saw that in the same gloves she took cash from other buyers and then served next ones.
Ströck has excellent choice and quality of products, but employees are not aware of minimum hygienic rules. In the same gloves they must not working with cash whole day and same time touch bread and other products!
The employee from upper floor, for example, she was not using gloves at all, but when she cut bread for me, she took a piece of paper to take is (still I hope she throws away this piece of paper after every client). The did not touch bread with hands. I saw sometimes sellers use metal tongs, what is also fine.
I left the Filiale and thrown away my fresh rhabarber Brötchen. I will not buy there breakfasts anymore.
Employees of Ströck should be trained better! read more
