Selling, buying or simply finding a place to live can be stressful. I decided it was time to sell…read moremy home, and turned to Reed to help me get it on the market after he came highly recommended by a friend. Reed was excellent through the entire process. He was honest and upfront about the range I'd probably get for the house. He pulled as many comps as he could and ran through a checklist of things that may increase the value: hurricane impact windows, new kitchen, new roof, etc. and also warned me about potential hiccups, such as half of the fence was knocked down in the backyard. He recommended I don't fix it and instead negotiate at closing for a credit - the new owners will value doing it how they want. He was right! Even though there was a little issue on the buyers side, Reed was super communicative and kept me updated on the whole situation. He even helped me find a new rental, since I wasn't in the market to buy again. The entire process was super smooth - closing was a breeze and not only did he get me over asking price, he helped me negotiate selling some of my furniture to the new owners. I'll be reaching out again when I'm ready to buy my next place.

It was because of a paper that needed to be re-signed because they changed companies, but they did a terrible job of communicating this to policy holders. I filed a complaint with the state of Florida and I'm still waiting for a resolution from the agency. New info: I finally spoke to Alexis at this agency. She admits that maybe they didn't do a great job informing people that a form needed to be signed but was unwilling to make it right. I just switched insurance companies. I don't need to deal with dishonorable, deceitful companies.

UPDATE: Fast-forward to one year later, and Ms. Janet Garcia remains a customer service rockstar!…read more The help that I was getting from the agent I had used for the past 3 years recently declined immensely (he shall receive a review reflecting this), so I once again contacted Janet to see if she could meet my insurance needs. What she delivered exceeded my hopes and expectations, and I have become a genuinely satisfied home + auto policy customer of this agency. In my opinion, Janet deserves the highest of recommendations. She is polite and kind, personable, intelligent, skilled, seasoned, attentive, efficient, honest and trustworthy. Frankly stated, she put my former agent to shame! ORIGINAL REVIEW: Both my auto insurance policy and my homeowners insurance policy are soon up for renewal; my current carriers hiked their rates recently, placing the full onus on NAIC as the reason. I promptly decided that it would be prudent to seek quotes from other providers, and left messages for a handful. Account Manager Janet G. @ Raul Despian's agency was one of only two in total who responded immediately. She's been amazing! She spoke with me, I explained my situation and emailed her all the necessary info, and she soon provided me with very solid, comparable, great quotes. I can state from this recent experience that Janet's professionalism, diligence, politeness, competency, and genuine eagerness to help me is -- sadly and unfortunately -- very rare these days. I found her work ethic to be admirable and exemplary. Ask for her! 5-star customer service!

I lived out of state and was looking for property around Deerfield Beach Island. Sometimes I was unable to timely view the property and "JR" within a day was able to provide me a video walkthru with his opinions as he walked through. We would then discuss each video on the phone. The times I was able to be present, he drove me around and clearly listened to my main priorities as we viewed properties. I finally made an offer that was accepted and the seller and agent were both hard to work with. JR always looked out solely for my interest and saved me a loss of my deposit when the seller played games with dates and paperwork. The Title company confirmed the uncooperative seller actions. Eventually I did make the purchase which included the 2 main priorities I had for a home. He was also very helpful with referring me businesses that would help with either moving my furniture or car and local contractors for any possible work. If you would like someone on your side who does not come from a large company, JR and his staff were excellent support in my purchase.
