Since their foray into Canada they have carried this similar business model that I once remembered 20 years ago when visiting the gargantuan stores in SF, NYC and Chicago. The store here at Carrefour Laval is well laid out nicely decorated and offers lots of items. However I'm a bit surprised how much their items appear to cost in Canada. Sure I know this place is not Ikea particle board furniture AKA kill your fingers putting together with a mini hex wrench. However Cadillac Fairview (Carrefour Laval) must be charging a stranglehold rent for them to have to charge what they do for items at a mall location. Selection is very good and they have high quality items. Really you can decorate the house to make your place look snazzy! A great place for office worker gifts or for the wifey or GF to get you out of the doghouse. If you are patient check out some of their name brand items and order online. You will definitely find cheaper.

Instead of leaving an invoice or responding to my email, she sent me a registered "Demand" letter, threatening to send my file to collections!!! I have an excellent credit rating and now this woman threatens me, rather than simply returning my email and setting up an invoice to pay. I contact her and now she is away for an entire month!. What kind of organization are you operating. It may have started as a small family company, but in no way does it reflect the Quebec culture and respect it once did.

I ordered three custom sofas from JC Perreault, manufactured by Décor-Rest, expecting high quality and durability. What I received was anything but. After waiting six months for delivery, one of the sofas started to fail within another six months--springs were literally coming out of the seat. It took over a month for anyone to come and fix it. Fast forward eight months, and the same sofa broke again in the exact same way. This furniture is in the home of an elderly woman, with no children, no pets, and very light use. If a sofa can't survive in that environment, I can only imagine how quickly it would fall apart in a home with young children or animals. It's not only disappointing--it's dangerous. The fact that this happened twice with the same piece shows a clear failure in Décor-Rest's quality control, and JC Perreault's after-sales service was slow and unhelpful. They were quick to take our money but nowhere near as responsive when things went wrong. A sofa of this price and brand reputation should last for years--not fall apart twice within less than two. This is not an isolated issue; it's a warning sign. I would strongly caution anyone considering purchasing from either of these companies. Buyer beware: you're on your own once they deliver.

He offered to price match and sent me a photo of a very small dent circled in yellow. I researched it, saw it had better reviews, and decided to go ahead. Since I live outside Quebec, I also arranged the shipping. What I received was a complete disgrace. The left side of the fridge was completely dented -- it looked like someone had taken a bat to it. See the photos. And then came the worst part: no freezer. It was a fridge-only unit. The product page -- now conveniently removed -- never stated that. And when I looked up the model number on LG's site, it showed a version with a freezer. Apparently, there are two versions. The salesperson knew I needed a combo, and knowingly sold me a defective, misrepresented product. When I complained, I was told the item was final sale -- something I was never informed of, either verbally or in writing. I asked for proof. Since then, they've stopped responding. This is flat-out dishonest. They misrepresented the product, failed to disclose key information, and disappeared the moment I raised a concern. I can't believe this kind of shady operation is allowed to function in Canada. You seem to respond to every bad review. Here's your chance. I've called four times. I've emailed twice.
