After fighting them through VISA and Winning - The store finally gave me a credit LESS transportation (Still going to write a letter for this to head office). Unfortunately VISA credited the amount as well. After much time on the phone with VISA and trying to explain this to the manager at Kirkland store, I sent her an email Dec 21 to say I would come and pay the amount, and for her to leave an invoice. Instead of leaving an invoice or responding to my email, she sent me a registered "Demand" letter, threatening to send my file to collections!!! I have an excellent credit rating and now this woman threatens me, rather than simply returning my email and setting up an invoice to pay. I contact her and now she is away for an entire month!. What kind of organization are you operating. It may have started as a small family company, but in no way does it reflect the Quebec culture and respect it once did. read more

Terrible Quality and Service - Avoid Décor-Rest and JC Perreault This has been one of the most disappointing and frustrating purchases I've ever made. I ordered three custom sofas from JC Perreault, manufactured by Décor-Rest, expecting high quality and durability. What I received was anything but. After waiting six months for delivery, one of the sofas started to fail within another six months--springs were literally coming out of the seat. It took over a month for anyone to come and fix it. Fast forward eight months, and the same sofa broke again in the exact same way. This furniture is in the home of an elderly woman, with no children, no pets, and very light use. If a sofa can't survive in that environment, I can only imagine how quickly it would fall apart in a home with young children or animals. It's not only disappointing--it's dangerous. The fact that this happened twice with the same piece shows a clear failure in Décor-Rest's quality control, and JC Perreault's after-sales service was slow and unhelpful. They were quick to take our money but nowhere near as responsive when things went wrong. A sofa of this price and brand reputation should last for years--not fall apart twice within less than two. This is not an isolated issue; it's a warning sign. I would strongly caution anyone considering purchasing from either of these companies. Buyer beware. We ordered a dryer machine from J.C. Perrault and it was damaged during delivery. They now refuse to change the item saying that my only option is to make a call to repair the item. We bought something new and they deliver us something damaged. Poor costumer service, they really don't care. read more

if order online, it's impossible to get a hold of them as they are all on vacation and there is no one to take your call on status of your order! spent 4.5 g on a fridge and no idea when it's gonna come in ! wasted entire week trying to get a hold of web departmen, left voicemail. no returned phone calls, even had a manager Valerie promising someone will contact me ! I purchased four pieces in 2018, two chairs and two loveseats. The mechanism in both chairs have broken, apparently this is a known defect with their motorized chairs. My loveseat ,a metal piece broke which perforated my leather , no service or assistance from JC Perreault contacted their customer service and the 'all included' insurance' that they recommended at time of purchase will not offer any service. No one takes ownership for the faulty material or workmanship despite the fact that photos I have shared clearly show that the breakage is from within the loveseat and not due to normal wear and tear. I bought Lazy Boy due to the high quality standards , but clearly this is no longer the case. Be aware that whatever you purchase , they will not accept responsibility for their product defects. read more

The staff were all very helpful. I had saleslady Nataly Z for my appliances. She was efficient, showed me what worked with my needs/interests and it was all exactly what I needed. After my purchase, I had questions and she returned my emails in a timely manner, answering all the questions I had. It's refreshing to have someone who knows their stuff and is efficient. Also, the prices were comparable. My experience at JC Perreault Laval was great! read more

so stacey voice mailed me from jc perreault on wed, i called her back early wednesday afternoon, her voicemail says she is not in today and will call me back tomorrow, thursday, no call, so i call her, again, her voice mail says she is not in and will call me tomorrow, same scenario on friday but this time it was 420 pm, and the whole department leaves at 4 and is off saturday and sunday. so now i have to wait til monday til i get a call back, even if she will call me? i spent about $4,500 on natuzzi leather power sofa and chair. not some little end table! unacceptable, that i, a customer have to do all the calling, what a piece of shit this worker is, the mangager probably does not even give a damn on what the employees do and dont do while at work. if i had to do it over again, i would shop elsewhere for my new home furniture. read more

Beautiful Furniture but service is horrible! Well I can't talk about all of their salespeople but the one I dealt with was terrible. One problem after another and in the end I didn't receive anything I ordered and it's simply because she didn't do her job and I only found about things because I either showed up at the store to talk in person or I called, otherwise I never would have known and I'd still be waiting 4 months later!!! read more

Its really unfortunate!!! The delivery was suppose to be 2 weeks, I got the order one month and 7 days after the purchase date! I called 3 times, finally I called the delivery and the order wasn't scheduled on the purchased order, so I scheduled it!! The "new" couch came damaged and they refuse to replace it, but will send a tech. to repair it. The bed came without the mattress!! All the departments are separate, so no one is responsible for the 'human' mistake. CHEAP CHEAP CHEAP materials, but the price was not cheap at all.
