I just bought 4 dining chairs from Structube. I'd bought one a week ago to see how it looked in the space and put the others on hold - for a week. That, they were very accommodating with, which I appreciated!
I went back today, to pick up the other three chairs, which they discounted 10% as they were display/discontinued and true - marked as a final sale. Not an awesome deal but appreciated nonetheless. Given the price I took them, rather than the higher end ones, more expensive ones I really wanted.
I then loaded the chairs into the truck, without any assistance whatsoever. No one even opened a door!?
Minutes later, on my drive home (didn't even get home to unload the chairs) I decided I REALLY wanted the higher end chairs. I called the store, as I thought it reasonable for the manager to take them back as I'd barely left the store and was planning on making a significantly larger purchase. Plus, I would have returned them within 30 minutes of purchasing them - undamaged, not even unloaded. More $ for them. Happy customer, right? WRONG! Nope. Not a chance. Her words; 'final sale is final sale'. Once they've left the store there's nothing I can do.' Really?? Wow. Soooo disappointing.
They seem very happy to take my money and keep it, rather than providing quality customer service to have a returning customer. I won't go back - EVER. read more
