It really pushes you and it lets me know what I need to do to push myself. The trainers are great. Lisa, Aaron, and Christina are fantastic coaches that really push you. They have great energy and it's amazing they can keep track of so many people. The coolest thing is that I can have my OT membership anywhere in the country. Really cool national gym!

I was a member here for just under a year and the classes were good overall, however, the customer service side of things is severely lacking. A majority of the time that I would call the studio I would not get an answer. When I left voicemails I would never get a call back. I quickly learned that there is no point in leaving a voicemail because they do not care to follow up with their members to assist them; you basically just have to keep calling everyday until someone finally answers the phone. When I wanted to cancel my membership (due to moving out of state, so it wasn't possible for me to go into the studio to cancel in person) it took multiple attempts for me to even speak with someone. I let the studio manager know in Mid-March that I wanted to cancel my membership because I had moved. She let me know that because they have a 30 day cancellation policy that I would be charged once more in the month of April. Seemed a little off to me that I would be charged an additional month for a membership when I had already moved and would not be going anymore, but I understood their policy and agreed to be charged again in April. I was emailed a cancellation form to fill out and I submitted it back to them on April 10th which was exactly 30 days before I would be billed again for the month of May. I never heard anything back from the studio manager after I submitted the cancellation form so I had no reason to believe that there were any issues with my cancellation. I was then charged for the membership in the month of May. When I called them to clear up what I believed to be a mistake, I was told that because I didn't email the form back until April they were charging for the month of May as well... even though I told them on March 13th that I wanted to cancel my membership and I sent them the cancellation form on April 10th (which was a 30 day written notice in addition to my well over 30 day verbal notice...), they charged me again on May 10th. This is extremely crooked and it is clear that this business prioritizes exploiting their customers just to make an extra buck over being fair and providing good customer service. I will be contacting my credit card company and disputing the transaction. If you are looking for a good place to work out that actually cares about it's clients and treats them with fairness and respect, this is definitely not the place for you.

Just when you thought the parking couldn't get any worse, this month they added MORE no-parking…read moresigns against the only remaining fence where people could safely parallel park up front. This comes after they repeatedly reduced up-front parking quietly throughout all of last year, first by reserving two spots at the front for EMPLOYEES (why should paid employees park in front of customers???) and then later by blocking the corners and some of the fences from being parked on for no good reason. Up-front parking at the new location is now beyond unacceptable for a gym that costs $70 per month, and it's a huge betrayal to long-time members like myself who have been coming here for years and remember back when there was plenty of up-front parking at the old Brickhouse. Now we have to drive 5 minutes further past old Brickhouse and (if you park in the overflow lot which is RIDICULOUSLY far away) you walk another 5 mins to the gym so you waste an extra 20 minutes round trip for every gym day. That's an hour per week wasted if you workout 3x. Who decided this was a good choice for the new gym??? The inconvenient location and parking far outweigh the larger size of the gym, which btw still doesn't have enough barbells for all the racks and still has outdated equipment in disrepair. I have tried to be patient and give them time to work out their childish quibbles with ETV over the closer overflow parking lot, but I'm not sure how much longer I will wait before canceling for good. Shame on Brickhouse for choosing this location knowing that the parking would be terrible and then deliberately making the parking even worse!!!

DYNAMIC/FITZONE VS. ONELIFE I was a member of once Dynamic,…read moreand currently FitZone, for aprox. 18 months. I endured the lack of bells and whistles (gym appearance, hot conditions) initially because the group class instructors are wonderful: especially Laura S, Mark B, David, Jade, Angie, Ronnie, and Allison (I have tried all their classes and came away having a great time!). However, FIT ZONE'S MANAGEMENT is AWFUL and even DISRESPECTFUL, and I would NOT RECOMMEND it. FitZone: In October, 2025, I noticed that my month-to-month membership RATE INCREASED by $20 suddenly after the name change, and attempted to discuss the issue with the General Manager, DRE. My mistake. DRE was CONDESCENDING and loud enough where others guests couldn't help but look. Dre's stated that "you got an email", and I should have READ THE SIGNS they posted in club letting the public know that there would be a rate increase. I asked him to show me the actual email, because I never received it, and I never saw signs. Dre went on to tell me that I should "read my contract" and continued to get loud and defensive. When I asked to talk to their Billing Dept or HIS supervisor, Dre told me, "he never answers his calls; YOU CAN'T TALK TO ANYONE ABOVE ME" with a snarky grin. I grew more and more upset and told him that it's fraud to charge someone more than what was agreed to, and I told Dre to stop calling me by my first name, as he was getting WAY too familiar. His last words: "YOU ARE NOT MY CUSTOMER!" I walked away in humiliation, I guess, put in my place. Later on, after some digging, I was able to contact the same Owner Dre mentioned before (that never answered his calls), Brad Rowe, and we had a 30-minute conversation about Dre's unprofessionalism about how he was doing all he could to bring the gym forward and on par with his other FitZones, located nationwide. He thanked me and apologized for my experience, and admitted that he didn't really know what was going on in this Lexington club, since he lives West Coast. I let Brad know about the fact that people are being charged an extra $10 a month for group classes, but there is NO CHECK-IN to verify who has this add-on or not. Brad stated that he was aware of this issue, and that his goal was to progressively make the costly changes due to so much needing attention. I thanked him as they finally fixed the A/C so our little tots wouldn't roast during play! He decided to comp me $10 a month for child care as a resolution. My friend who observed the interaction next to me that night, also emailed Brad directly per her observations. With the promise that Brad would talk to Dre, I thought this agreement was fair, and decided to stick it out with FitZone. Dre never spoke to me again when I would scan in at the front desk. No apology. No recognition, as "I was not his customer." So who would I go to with any further issue? My only option was Brad, so I emailed him after getting charged the very additional $10 Brad promised would not happen, one month later. Brad responded that he would check as to why the system was charging me. He doesn't know his own system. I took the opportunity as well to email Brad about the lack of Lysol disinfecting (I never even saw a can or any of the like) occurring in the Childcare room, since this is cold and flu season, and stomach flu, norovirus, strep, flu A/B is going around...and truly a GYM would be CLEAN, right? I was emailed after Brad must have talked to Dre, saying that cleanings were done nightly by childcare staff. This was interesting to me because spraying some Lysol in between children is not hard, and the kid's care room is such a small space. I emailed him again to respectfully reconsider. I guess my concerns about cleanliness were too much. I received an email the next day: "after careful consideration, we have determined that we are no longer able to ADEQUATELY SATISFY YOUR NEEDS OR PROVIDE THE EXPERIENCE YOU ARE SEEKING (caps mine). As a result, we believe it is in the best interest of both parties to part ways...effective immediately, your membership is CANCELED." WHAT?! THEY FIRED ME! I expected a CLEAN CHILDCARE room in cold and flu season, respectful communication per INCREASED RATE CHANGES, and RESPECTFUL AND PROFESSIONAL INTERACTION WITH GENERAL MANAGER, and not to be CHARGED for classes that others weren't even paying for, but attending? ONELIFE: WHAT AN AMAZING DIFFERENCE, for ABOUT THE SAME PRICE! -when you walk in, it is brightly lit and actually smells CLEAN, including Kid's Care, locker rooms, wet sauna - MANY group classes throughout the week AM/PM (FitZone had only 1 evening class Tue, Wed, Thursdays) -wonderful and reasonable management: Victoria is extremely PROFESSIONAL every time I see her -front desk who actually GREET you when you come in with a smile -the best Spin instructors: Sharon M and Chrystyne are fun, witty, and work you hard! SUMMARY: IF YOU WANT A PLEASANT, RESPECTFUL GYM EXPERIENCE, SKIP FITZONE.

Most of the changes that were announced have been completed and actually has transformed the gym from an average gym to a top tier facility. It seems like they have doubled the size of the facility just by adding tons of new machines, opening up the existing spaces, and organizing the area for maximum effiiciency. However, the continuing friendliness of the original Mov staff, plus the addition of many hard working people are what make it feel like a family gym. While I, most times, just accept how things are, I have always mentioned improvements that would contribute to my postive experience when I notice. The difference now (I assume due to Vicktoria's strong work ethic), is that when I mention something as One Life, the changes occur within days. And, I guess based on having people with foresight for customers, most things have improved before I even get concerned. While I miss my original trainer (Lindsay), my new trainer (Nick) and all the others seem to enjoy helping us reach our goals. Nick's field of study has been great for me trying to adapt to the issues with aging and how to address those in the proper training and correct preparation (for me the stretch sessions allow me to continue to workout while hip and back changes can slow progress). Finally, being greeted by Katherine, Victoria, and/or Christine (or whomever is at the front desk) each visit, just makes it feel like a family type gym vs a corporate chain. They help me start out my work out with a smile. To close, I'll give a little more praise. "Hardest working" goes to Victoria, and cleaning guy (sorry haveln't learned his name yet). They are never in one place for long. Always cheerful and make you feel that way goes to Katherine and Nenna. How can anyone be that cheerful all the time? While those are ones I call out as champions, I have had great experiences with most all the staff, and thats what makes the gym stand out. PS. While it is obvious the changes must be contributing to larger membership, my lunch time slot never seems to be an issue for access to the various equipment. Regards Joe
