The surgery I had here in 2018 somehow fell apart, so I needed it done again. If I had any…read morealternatives, I would be crazy to go back to this clinic - but since I don't, I went to them again. I already knew before I even got started that I needed surgery, but I still had to go through FIVE appointments just to get the surgery scheduled. This stretched out for well over a month, with me being in pain the whole time. Every time I needed an appointment, I had to call them, talk my way past a useless robot, and then get put on hold for an obscenely long time. Then at the office, they kept me waiting 30-60 minutes past my scheduled appointment time every time. Maybe your office wouldn't be so hopelessly swamped if you didn't force people to go through a ridiculous number of unnecessary appointments. When I finally got the surgery scheduled, I had to go to a hospital very far away in Oregon City, even though there are plenty of closer options, and communication on the day before the surgery was not as clear as it should have been. On the day of the procedure, I was forced to wait outside in the cold and then walk a long distance around the outside of the hospital, while starving, all because of blatantly wrong signage on the hospital. After the surgery, they referred me to physical therapy, who refused to take my insurance even though it is a division of the same company, forcing me to enter another round of phone tag and ultimately figure PT out on my own. They gave me a brace with pads that fall off way too easily, and told me that I was required to wear it everywhere at all times. Well surprise surprise, some of the pads got lost. When I called them to ask for help replacing the pads, they were unable to help, leaving metal digging directly into my skin. I ultimately had to remake the pads myself using supplies from a crafts store. They also failed to provide me with the crutches I needed, and I had to supply my own. I needed multiple doctor's notes for my work and for the Employment Office. Are you sitting down? ROC charges you $30 every time you need a note. My insurance already paid them over $60,000, but why miss yet another opportunity to nickel-and-dime patients and kick us when we are down? I think this is disgusting and greedy (although it is not illegal). ROC subjected me to every hassle they possibly can. This experience was extremely stressful, and the whole process could have been completed in just the time it took for the surgery to be scheduled.

Several years prior to his January 2018 retirement, my hip joint began to feel like it was moving. Over the last few months I could feel my hip slipping in and out more often. Unfortunately, my hip dislocated three times, in a week, sending me by ambulance to emergency each time. These were very painful incidents requiring x-rays, anesthesia and medication in the ER. I was referred to Dr. Andrew Bryan by Dr. Pettit at OSM Center. He stayed after office hours on a Friday afternoon to see me. What a blessing! After consultation, Dr. Bryan assured me the type of joint repair required was one of his specialties. He explained the need to reline the cup and insert a ball stem with newer much stronger material. What I appreciated most about Dr. Bryan was his knowledge, directness, calmness, and control of the situation. My surgery was very successful and soon after I was up and able to walk with only slight pain. Gone are the strong pain medications. Dr. Bryan gave me confidence and helped me through a pretty scary situation. He was always available to answer questions and followed up on my every concern getting back to me immediately. Since my right hip will also eventually need surgery, I'm sure I'll be seeing him often in the next several years. Thank you, Dr. Bryan for giving my mobility back. Dr. Bryan relocated to join the OSM Center practice and it has been to my benefit that he did.

Prior to working with Dr Huebert, I'd tried every suggested solution to help my back pain go away,…read moreaside from getting surgery. After experiencing pain that was significantly affecting my quality of life (ie: I was on prescription painkillers on my wedding day, and our honeymoon trip to Whistler, Canada, turned into a sightseeing excursion, as opposed to a snowboarding adventure) for months on end, I was almost to the point of resorting to a permanent operation. I got multiple surgical opinions, all of which suggested I was a "good" candidate for disc replacement(s) and/or a lumbar spinal fusion, in that one or both of those procedures may resolve some of my primary source of pain, but due to my young age (22 years old), small stature (I'm 5'2) and desire to return to athletics, neither option were particularly recommended. I was advised to significantly alter my life, in order to (hopefully) reduce my pain. I was frustrated and heartbroken. This went on for almost a year. It was actually my mother in law who suggested I look into stem cell treatments, after a friend of hers underwent a similar procedure in Texas. I had previously had negative experiences with "alternative" medicine, and was quite wary of giving this idea any thought. My desperation for relief finally caught up with me, however, and before long, I was sitting in Dr. Huebert's office for an evaluation, MRIs, x-rays, and detailed medical history in hand. I had walked out of the previous four spine specialist's appointments in tears, calling my husband to rehash the lack of hope the surgeons had portrayed to me, as well as my own frustration. We both knew something was different when I called him with joy in my voice, and couldn't wait to tell him about the appointment. I went home and researched everything I could about stem cell treatments. I read the clinical studies, watched patient testimonials, and spoke with friends and family in the medical field, as well as my own previous physical therapists, athletic trainers, and physicians. The general consensus was this: While its success hadn't been proven yet, neither had its consequences. When it came down to it, the list of possible negative outcomes of getting stem cell treatments was FAR less than that of having back surgery, regardless of how great a surgeon I went with. So, after much prayer and petition with my husband, family, and God, we decided to proceed with Dr. Huebert. It's been almost one year, exactly, since I had five lumbar stem cell injections done by Dr. Huebert. Everything about the process (aside from the obvious discomfort of the procedure, and the weeks immediately following) has been better than I ever could have asked for. From helping us figure out a financial plan, to offering reassurance and support all along the way, I truly could not recommend Dr. Huebert or his practice any more. I can't finish up this review without mentioning how awesome his medical assistant, Meghan has been, as well. Since being given the "go ahead" to return to exercising to my fullest capacity (approximately eight months ago) -- my back has never felt better. I'm no longer reliant on pain medication, ice packs, and epsom salt baths just to get through the day, I can enjoy being active with my friends and family, and most importantly, I feel like myself again. I will forever be grateful for Dr. Huebert and his team for what they have done for me, and should I need back care in the future, he will undoubtedly be the first person I seek advice from. Sincerely, Bridgette Pronozuk

In addition, his current staff is the best of any clinic/hospital I go to. At 76 years old and having lived an extremely rough life as a farmer, I have had plenty of worn out and otherwise injured body parts and Dr. Huebert always has a way to fix me up. I am so glad I was referred to him by my PCP. He is top notch. For reference, I was an Army medic and have multiple university degrees in science and engineering so I am certainly in a position to notice medical excellence when I see it.
