I've been to a number of physical therapy clinics over the years and COLPT is by the best and most…read morepleasurable and effective. My orthopedist referred me here to treat a couple of horribly painful tears in my left shoulder muscles. He felt physical therapy would be more effective to promote healing than surgery.--and he was right. The pain level has been greatly reduced and my range of motion is far greater than it was at the outset after just a few weeks of therapy. This is my second course of physical therapy here. Both times I've been lucky enough to work with Liz. This time I've also had the pleasure of working with Eric. The in-clinic therapy consists of exercises to stretch and strengthen the poor injured muscles, and manual manipulation and massage of the muscles when they're riled up and causing pain. I've also been given a home course of stretching and strengthening exercises. It's the the home program that is enabling me to achieve my rapid progress towards healing that miscreant shoulder. As for the facility itself, everyone is very warm and friendly and, with a few of them, very funny. I love a fun repartee with office staff because it also helps to humanize the place, which helps to make feel at home. Liz is a kick because she shares her personality with her patients and her personality is delightful. And she is an excellent P.T. Eric is also excellent, and I'm very lucky to be paired up with him. Also very warm and friendly, his treatments and exercise regimen have been equally effective as Liz's. In fact, they work seamlessly together so that no matter which therapist I'm working with on a given day, it's all the same program. Theclinic itself is about medium-sized with all the latest rehabilitation/exercise machines and exercise balls and handheld equipment. i consider myself very lucky to have a P.T. clinic of this quality and high effectiveness here in Port Orchard. I wouldn't go anywhere else.

I drive all they way over to them, and as I'm parking they call me to tell me they don't take my insurance, then try to convince me that I can self-pay. Either incompetence or simply not caring enough about their patient's financial situation, not sure - but I definitely wouldn't recommend them.

I had torn ligaments in it that required surgery for which I had replaced with donor tissue in July 2025. I was impressed with their professionalism and friendly demeanor that made the process to relearn the use of my elbow calm and comfortable. I recently completed my time in their clinic this October with their seal of approval lol. I am now on my way to the next phase of my recovery on getting used to lifting weighted things on my own with current work limitations in place (until possibly December 2025 or later depending on my doctors approval). I can pretty much bend elbow normally as of Oct. 2025 so that's a goal met, and I can pick light weight things up without any major discomfort, but like with anything, it will take time and patience to continue strengthening my elbow before moving on to heavier, more physically demanding things I was able to do before. I want to thank everyone there who helped me out. You all helped provide that extra positive energy in the healing process. I will miss working with you all. I highly recommend to anyone who needs Physical therapy in their life to seek this place out.

I enjoyed talking to her about my physical health and…read moreshe always had a nugget of information to share with me every time I brought up something that was bothering me. She taught me plenty about how our pelvic floor works and the importance of mind to muscle connection. I would recommend trying out internal pelvic floor therapy solely for the purpose of learning how your body works when under stress/when relaxed and how to breathe properly when engaging in exercises. I want to add the lady at the front desk is one of the more pleasant folks I've encountered when checking in, in comparison to other businesses. She greets you like she's glad to see you and scheduled me for several dates because she knew it would fill up. It's rare to see this in front desk employees. 5 stars for her too.

I'm still working with the wonderful Megan Morris in this clinic, but a couple of months or so…read moreafter we began working together I started p.t. for another issue. If you don't know what a vestibular system is, be grateful. I've gained more in-depth knowledge of mine than I ever wished for--and I never wished for any. But that's life, as a singer once claimed. A major benefit to receiving p.t. for this problem is that I get to work with Kristin Miller. Vestibular Rehabilitation is one of her specialties and she indeed knows her stuff. I began treatment suffering from intense balance issues and some vertigo but thanks to the exercises and stretches she's taught me those balance issues are no longer as intense as they were, and the recovery from those episodes is far quicker. Kristin has a background in gymnastics and she effectively employs it with me. When I get frustrated over not being able to maintain my balance during some of the walking exercises she'll tell me or show me videos how Olympic gymnasts lose their balance during a competition balance beam routine and how they recover it. So at times she's both a physical therapist and my gymnastic coach. She's relentlessly upbeat so I have to be too in her presence since it's infectious. I'm grateful to be working with Kristin; she's made a difference in my life. Two years ago I wasn't able to break out my kettle charcoal grill or my electric smoker because it set off debilitating balance and dizziness episodes something fierce. Not any more. This summer I'll return to full bore backyard grilling and smoking, Who knows? I might even try it on a balance beam.

This facility is the worst! Do not allow your loved one to go here. If your loved on is here,…read moreplease have them transferred. My mother was transferred here and after 12 days and us noticing her heath declining and staff not checking vitals, running labs or the physician ever seeing her, we called 911 and had her taken to an ER. My mom was admitted to the ICU for 2 weeks before being downgraded to a medical floor. The ER told us she was sick and kept saying they couldn't believe she came to them like this from a facility. We told them she was at Forest Ridge and they said "that place is awful" This place was negligent! My mother passed away a few weeks later. I reported this place to the state and they were very familiar with it. This place has had many investigations and fines and is still allowed to stay open. An investigation was opened form my complaint and many issues were noted, fines given and that's all that happens. They found that my mom was not the only one the physician did not and was behind in seeing many other patients as well. They filed bankruptcy, were sold and are now filing bankruptcy again. Rehab/SNF are not held to a standard and it's the patients who pay for it. This needs to get attention and be changed. The elderly can't and don't always have a voice or family to advocate for them. This is not acceptable!
