We entered via Emergency (very convenient, multiple entry points), and were directed to imaging. As all hospitals, it's not impossible to get turned around in the mazelike corridors but we found our objective easily enough. Bare bones decor. Signage is just okay. Staff - superior. Very friendly, helpful, and professional. Would definitely go again.

Ours is not the only insurance they are not playing good with. My husband retired with 47 years at Boeing with great insurance through Regence. So when we retired we went with them for our Medicare Advantage. After 8 years of retirement Multi Care no longer Supports several insurance plans. The families of Auburn through insurance companies have supported Multi Care now they are turning their backs on us. What gives???? As a result we have now transferred everything to St Francis Hospital and Doctors in Federal Way. I have a health situation that needs attention. I have found that St Francis is great. The CT scan when through so promptly and with great service. I really like my new Primary Dr and my Urologist and Team are looking after me with the best care. So...maybe this is a blessing in disguise.

We are still stuck with the bill even though THEY CAUSED HIS SYMPTOMS & COULD HAVE KILLED HIM!! The lab on the main floor did not process my husbands labwork correctly, resulting in his cardiologist changing his medications. 36 hours later he was admitted to St Joes ER (also a Franciscan facility) with heart attack symptoms (BP ~210/107, tingling arm, nausea, etc). According to the ER Dr, his admittance into the hospital was a direct result of of the medication changes made by his cardiologist, based on the incorrect lab results. We followed back up with the cardiologist at this location. He admitted his own family had stopped using the lab there, as they were unhappy with results from there as well... Nonetheless, we cautiously had his blood work done a second time, again resulting in incorrect numbers. We then got a 2nd, 3rd & 4th blood draw at 3 other labs not Franciscan labs. It was confirmed his results from that lab were incorrect. We contacted a patient advocate with Franciscan. Concerned that if this lab processed one patients labs incorrectly twice, it was easy to assume it was happening to others. After 4 months of internal investigation, they admitted the same person processed both samples, retraining was done, but we were still liable for the $5000 bill at the ER ($2000 insurance, $3000 out of pocket, $21000 contractually written off). Even though the Drs decisions, based on INCORRECTLY PROCESSED blood samples, almost KILLED him; we are still responsible for the bill to save his life. A bill from the exact same corporation.

I felt humiliated and treated like less than of a person they tried to have security approach us. fortunately security had a conscience and upon seeing me feeble shaking confused they walked away because they knew we weren't a threat. I feel like I was discriminated against because I have long hair. One of the worst experiences of my life I felt like I might die while hospital staff just didn't care at all. Would give negative stars if possible.

I am submitting a review regarding my hospitalization at Covington Hospital and ongoing concerns…read moreabout pain management and communication during the sickle cell crisis in which I was admitted for. Dr. David Siebert's made very frustrating and neglectful statements about my medication adherence and his refusal to initiate around-the-clock IV opioid management despite my documented history, I would like to document further inconsistencies and communication failures affecting my care. During my first night at Covington, Dr. Michael Joyce informed my father and me that PCA pumps were not used at this facility and suggested that I would have better luck receiving sickle cell pain management at Fred Hutch. This recommendation was confusing and distressing. I reside in Lakewood, and Fred Hutch is located in Seattle. Additionally, Fred Hutch is a specialty cancer and hematology center and not an emergency hospital capable of managing acute vaso-occlusive crises. The suggestion conveyed a lack of viable local care options and contributed to my distress. Over the course of four days in severe sickle cell pain, I was later told that more effective pain management could have been initiated earlier in my stay, which was extremely frustrating to learn given the severity of my symptoms. Following comments made by Dr. Siebert regarding my pain management plan, I experienced an intense panic attack triggered by distress and perceived lack of appropriate care. A Code Grey was called in response to my emotional distress. Shortly afterward, Dr. Siebert returned and asked whether I had ever been on a PCA pump before. This raised several concerns: * We had previously informed care staff that PCA therapy has historically been the primary method used to control my severe vaso-occlusive crisis pain. * This information is documented in my medical record. * The question suggested that my documented care history may not have been reviewed. * It also appeared to contradict the earlier statement that PCA therapy was not available at this facility. These inconsistencies in communication, lack of continuity, and apparent failure to review documented treatment history have contributed to unmanaged pain, heightened anxiety, and significant emotional distress during an already vulnerable medical crisis. I am requesting review of: * continuity and coordination of communication between providers * review and utilization of documented pain management protocols * clarification of PCA availability and alternative pain control strategies * patient-centered communication practices during high-distress situations * care escalation protocols for patients with severe sickle cell pain My goal is to ensure that care is coordinated, evidence-based, and communicated clearly so that future patients do not experience similar distress during crisis treatment.

I have never…read moreonce complained or requested controlled medications--until this appointment, my very first with Dr. Show (my regular PCP was unavailable). I disclosed a traumatic experience for the first time and, while crying and extremely vulnerable, asked for short-term help with severe anxiety. Dr. Show responded by sighing audibly with an "ugh", as if my distress and request were a burden or annoyance. She shrugged off my concerns, dismissed why my current medication wasn't helping, and then bizarrely pivoted to complaining about how difficult it is to find a psychiatrist for her own daughter--turning my traumatic disclosure into a comment about her personal frustrations. I felt blatantly treated like a drug seeker despite my long, clean history. She offered zero empathy, zero alternatives, and zero support beyond suggesting I "take an extra pill" of the medication I am currently taking (which I'd already said wasn't sufficient). The entire visit left me re-traumatized and far worse than when I arrived. No one from the clinic even bothered to check on me afterward. This was not poor bedside manner--this was a complete failure of compassion and professional boundaries. I have filed formal complaints with MultiCare leadership, the Joint Commission, and the Washington Medical Commission. If you need genuine, trauma-informed care for anxiety or mental health, avoid Dr. Michelle Show at all costs.

The medical facility is really close by my apartment, so traveling back and forth is not a problem. Lots of parking, with about half dozen Handicap parking stalls directly out from the front door of the clinic. Perhaps the time spent with negotiations between Aetna & UW Medicine was my good luck.
