Worse place to get gas and snacks. The workers are so rude and the pumps barely ever work, it's either out of service or your card gets stuck. But if you go inside for help the ladies there will give you such a nasty attitude. My dad came to visit from out of state and right as he walked in "What do you want?!" Looks like this gas station has earned their Stripes. Stripes down in League City is an excellent gas station and has tacos inside which are actually pretty good Tex-Mex border-style chorizo egg type thing - and the price of gas is usually about average and people in here are friendly. read more

This place is a joke! Never have receipt paper, constantly have pumps out of order. And if you use upside, they'll lure you in with a 10¢ back per gallon deal, but they won't actually report the sale to upside, meaning you'll never see that! read more

So I am always on the hunt for good tacos be it breakfast or lunch. I usually try to go for a taco truck or taqueria. I was skeptical of tacos from a chain of convenience stores. Still I had heard good things and the prices sounded good. The store itself is super busy which is a good sign. Inside is well lit and clean with a good selection of the usual snacks ect. Then you have a food counter where you can order a variety of pretty authentic Mexican taqueria food . Tacos are 1.99 and are big. Plates with meat and 2 sides and a tortilla are 3.99. Good prices for sure. I got the mixed fajita with charo beans and rice. The fajita meat was nice tender and flavorful. Rice was fine, charo beans were mostly sausage,meat, and bacon. Still the beans had a really good flavor. There is a salsa bar with pico, onions ect as well. Top it off with a 99 cent fountain drink and you can see why it is so busy here. They also offer fried burritos, taquitos, egg rolls ect. For those wanting a healthy choice they offer a fruit bar where you can fill up a cup with fresh fruit for a set price. I'm looking forward to going back and trying their breakfast tacos. Call me impressed that they offer a fairly authentic taqueria experience. read more

I go into the 7-11 (STRIPES) 1111 League City Parkway and I'm told by the cashier that they don't not have any coin change and if I had exact change both times I replied I didn't have the exact change in coins. Would you believe that they expected me to just let them keep the change which I did both times. After thinking about this though shouldn't it be them who allows the customer to keep the change on the purchase? But NO, she expected me to give her the change no questions asked. Who thinks this is B.S? I would like to know. read more

Literally the worst customer service I have ever seen. I went to get tacos at around 10 AM, and they were pretty busy inside. An older white women asks me what I want, and I simply asked for two tacos, and was going to tell her what I wanted as she went, just because it was not a commonly ordered taco. She proceeds to make two bacon egg and cheese tacos before I even told her what I wanted. I did not even realize she was making my tacos considering I hadn't told her what I wanted yet. When I told her I didn't want bacon egg and cheese she said very rudely "you asked for bacon." I told her that I didn't even say what I wanted yet and she rolled her eyes and said "well what do you want." When I told her my order she just stared at me and then rolled her eyes and sighed heavily multiple times. I know you may not enjoy rolling tacos for a living, but that's definitely not my problem. It's a shame that I was having a nice morning to have it ruined by someone who is obviously just a miserable person. read more

My boyfriend suggested I try the breakfast tacos at Stripes gas station. Well, today I went and the older Hispanic woman who worked the taco area was extremely rude. She was yelling and snapping at me, telling me what I could and could not mix and get for my food choices. Ultimately, she's not even eating the taco..I am. The tacos themselves were awesome but I'm very disappointed with the way she treated her customers. read more

I really enjoy the breakfast burritos. I really appreciate the quickness of the service and the quality of the food as well. The homemade/in house tortillas are amazing. I think, I may purchase a few for eating later. I also like that they employ people of all races and backgrounds. Especially the lady who makes the homemade tortillas. Stripes also provides fresh fruits and desserts made daily...The cashiers were also fast considering it was morning rush hour. I would like for you guys to bring back the cash cards for gas for our much needed discount. Kudos to the staff at the League City location. read more
