Stayed at the Palms Place this weekend for a birthday celebration. I booked my reservations through American Express travel. Unknowingly, my room was reserved with Strip View Suites. The experience was absolutely terrible. From check in to check out. The room was not functional, filthy, and smelled the pungent stench of sewage. Strip View Suites at Palms Place wanted to know about the experience, and it was absolutely awful. Here are pictures! There are plenty more to share. From broken TV's, broken bathroom fixtures, all appliances in the kitchen not working, ripped curtains. The list goes on. Not to mention, Crystal refused to help, hung up on me when I called, then sent my call to voicemail each time I called back. I do not recommend this business or the Palms Place. We should have stayed at the motel 6, as the accommodations would have been much better!

Having conjoined rooms was paramount, we were limited in options. Very happy this was even an option. All the way around, we were quite pleased with the rooms, amenities, and very friendly staff.

Mold/dirt on comforter

This was by far the worst stay I have ever had. Me and my husband travel to vegas on special occasions and we only enjoy staying at the palms place. This time we booked strip view suites through Expedia. It was the worst decision we could have ever made. I have never experienced anything like this, it was worse than a motel. There was visible mold and dirt on our comforter and upon contacting stripviewsuites for a new comforter they told us that housekeeping said it was not mold or dirt and that what we had pictured was feathers from the blankets (housekeeping never came - this judgement was made from a photo) I only was requesting a new comforter, not any other type of compensation and I was still declined a new comforter. On top of all of this, I requested a late check out and was told there would be a 50$ fee. I have never had any of this happen to me through any host through the palms place. Please beware of this company.

View of the strip was exceptional and breathtaking! Communication was great and front desk was very helpful! I'm definitely going again! Value for money, yes! The service requested was equally met! Thanks guys!

The sink in the master bathroom has no drain cover. The tub is damaged and chipped. All the furniture is damaged with part of the finish missing. The kitchen light fixture is just two bare fluorescent bulbs, no cover. The place is also a fire trap. The first night we were here I ran a load of dishes in the dishwasher. The kitchen floor was quickly covered with water. I contacted Maya and she asked me to make sure that the air gap for the dishwasher was turned toward the sink. Why? Because the plumbing for the dishwasher isn't set up properly so she has it draining through the air gap into the kitchen sink. I turned the dishwasher on again after pointing the hole in the air gap toward the kitchen sink. Water came streaming out of the air gap, but there was still water all over the floor. The next night I washed dishes in the sink. I looked down at the floor and saw that the kitchen floor was covered in water again. I opened the kitchen cabinet and found that it was full of water. I also found a power strip in the cabinet that had the dishwasher, garbage, disposal, and refrigerator plugged into it. Electrical power strips should NEVER be plugged in under a kitchen sink. If there's a leak, it's a fire hazard. I looked to see where the power strip was plugged in. It was plugged into an outlet that is not GFCI, which could cause severe electrical shock if the water causes the power cord to short out. I've spent over 24 hours trying to get Airbnb to move us to another unit. So far, no luck. I wouldn't wish this apartment on my worst enemy. It's horrible and dangerous.

Parking is free, valet is free, and there's plenty of parking. Checking in was easy, but they send you to another desk to program your wristbands, which act as keys. During this process, they try to sell you their time share, but they weren't annoying. I just wanted to get to my room. The room layout is a bit awkward, but we were barely there, so it didn't make a difference. There's a small sitting area with a table as soon as you walk in. Within that area is a "kitchen" equipped with a mini fridge, microwave, some counter space, and a sink. The living room (with a pullout) has a nice view, a TV (I'm used to bigger screens), and a bathroom. The bedroom is a decent size, and I slept comfortably. However, I would definitely ask for a bigger room for me and my family of three next time. This place has plenty to do. There are two pools, and you can also play in the water park. There are games to play by the pool, like ping pong, corn hole, connect 4, and a bean bag toss game. You can order food and alcohol, including a cabana. I truly enjoyed the space and how spacious it was. I never felt crowded. As I mentioned, I would stay again in a bigger room.

The full kitchen also featured an ice/water dispenser which is a huge plus. The location is off strip but we knew that when we booked and had planned accordingly. They do have a shuttle that runs over to the strip for convenience as well. it was treasure Island the week we were there but not sure if that changes. Ok, now the rest. We check in, fairly quick and simply. We had bracelets so the lady who checked us in just programmed them for us so we could avoid the sales pitch as it had been a long day due to multiple flight delays resulting in about 10 hours in the airport as well as a significant time change. We thanked her and started heading up to our room when a guy came after us calling my husbands name. My husband who is wise, kept walking and myself, who is not, stopped to talk to him. He said they needed us to come to the Guest services desk to complete checking in. I said the girl at the desk had taken care of it and we went back and forth for a few minutes before he stated it was for security reasons. See above where I admit to not being smart, I follow him to the desk and drag my husband as well truly thinking it was some sort of thing for security since we had old bracelets. I am sure you will be shocked to find it was a ruse to get us to the desk where we were immediately asked all the questions about plans in town and what tickets do we want for our reward! We've been Wyndham owners for a few years now so we always anticipate the 20 ?'s and let them know we had our annual meeting in October and go to head back to the room. The guest services guy just would not stop, asking what we got for the reward and he could do better if we just gave him 45 minutes, etc. Again we both said we were all set and started walking away when he started in again. My husband got aggravated ( understandably) and asked what part he didn't understand. The guest service guy got indignant and was like no need to be rude. I stated to him to not take it personally it's been a long day stuck in an airport. He replied it's not his fault we were in the airport. We understand they have a job to do and I don't hold that against them but being empathetic and listening to clients is an important part of that as well. I know if I wasn't an owner already that experience would have left a bad taste in my mouth for Wyndham.

I immediately contacted Signature Rental and their response was less than desired. They told us no housekeeping staff were on location and they would be back at the hotel at 11 am the next day. Me and 3 of my guests were then forced to sleep next to a used condom with a smell of bodily fluids wafting from the vase. In the morning, we left as soon as possible to get out of the filthy room and waited for the room to be cleaned. I got a message from Signature Rental around 1:30 asking me to send a picture of the condom to prove there is an issue... i was floored. Not only have they still not cleaned our room, they need picture evidence to give the room a once over...After i told them i did not feel comfortable taking a picture of someone's used condom, they sent a snarky message about leaving our do not disturb light was on... Sorry, was in a bit of a hurry to get out of our petri dish of a room to check the do not disturb light. Later when returning to the room, we saw there was no signs of actually cleaning that happened, not even the beds were made. Surprisingly, the condom was gone. And the worst part? Not a single refund or anything comped. Am i crazy, or does forcing guests to sleep in a room with a condom not justify a free night at least? I assumed rental companies had some sort of morals for having people sleep in decently cleaned rooms, but not these guys.

She is a hospice graduate, a mother of five and a grandmother of five. She decided to book 2 hotel rooms at the Wyndham in Las Vegas on Harmon Avenue so that we could all be together and celebration of her birthday. We did not know that this was a timeshare hotel or that she would be aggressively approached by the salesman with these timeshare offers. My sister and I went in with her and our 3 kids to this 9am timeshare seminar, led by very attractive and well dressed groups of people. Everything seemed too good to be true. They kept bringing down the price of the total timeshare and gave her VIP upgrades and all sorts of perks and upgraded point packages due to it being her birthday and the fact that we all worked in healthcare. She had made it through several levels of the process and moved from room to room with different salesman. She began to feel very uncomfortable and she was insecure with her final decision, so she pulled out and said she had, had enough. By this time they had already got her personal information and they decided to open a credit card in her name anyway. Furthermore, they fraudulently signed for this credit card with someone else's signature that was not my mother's own. That same afternoon I went down before they all went home for the day and filed an incident report with the director of the timeshare operations department. I took a picture of the report I filled out and followed up today with a voicemail left for those same directors, Marcus Stone and Troy Patterson. What happen this weekend is unlawful and fraudulent. We come to find that they do have an active class action lawsuit against them for these very sinister acts. Although the hotel in hospitality was great the aspect of these timeshare sharks really threw a wrench in our very short family trip. We are disgusted by the fact that they moved forward with something that was completely turned down. Beware the Whyndham timeshare representatives. If you are naïve and going in to stay at this hotel for the sake of price or the fact that they have condos that can accommodate larger families, beware that they will try to hustle you to purchase one of their worldwide international timeshare packages. If we knew then what we know now, we would have bypassed staying there altogether.

We arrived early Friday morning and were greeted by William, who was incredibly kind and hardworking--seriously, bless him. Since our room wasn't ready yet, he offered to store all of our luggage (and groceries), and later helped us get a cart and settled in. He was such a standout and made a great first impression. The room was as advertised, washer and dryer are on premises for an extra fee. Not a huge deal for a short trip, but it would've been a downside if we were staying longer. Otherwise, it was well-stocked with what we needed. Beds weren't the coziest, but they were fine. What really stood out was the staff--they were constantly checking in to see if we needed anything, which we appreciated. The pool area was just okay--pretty crowded, and it could definitely use more chairs and maybe some music for better ambiance. That said, Derek came around handing out ice cream and was incredibly friendly. We even saw him picking up litter himself, which says a lot about the level of care the take in guest experience. I also noticed a sign with daily activities, which looked like a fun perk--especially for families or those traveling with kids. There was also a well-stocked snack area available for purchase, which was super convenient. I had heard they sometimes push timeshare tours, but we weren't approached even once, which I really appreciated. Overall, while I'd probably choose a full Airbnb house over this for a longer stay, this property worked perfectly for our quick trip. The staff truly made the experience, and because of them--especially William--I'm giving this a 5-star review.
