He operated on both my feet many times then sent me to other Drs to get another opinion just to make sure he had diagnosed what he thought was the best thing to do. He and the other dr I saw both operated on my foot at the same time. And when he wasn't able to help he was truthful said he wasn't able to help and pointed me in the rite direction. Rabbitt saved my had after I was bit by a spider then I smashed my hand he sent me to a hand specialist. I was hurting so bad I was taking way to much pain meds he sent me to a pain specialist that sent me to JHU I had to go through a bunch of trials to find the best thing to do and in 2002 I had a medical pump put in me to help with my pain. 17 years now and I have my body and life back the pills were killing me, now when I take the meds I feel like crap. I have nothing but great respect and lots of trust for Dr. Rabbitt, I'm going to be really sad when he retires. He just operated on my shoulder I'll give an update in a few weeks don't start PT for 4 weeks. There are some people out there that haven't had a positive experience I guess if your not happy you can move to someone else. He does his best to make you better you also have to do the work that needs to be done. Not every surgery is going to go great I had a few fail. Doc your doing great!!!!

Dr stated I needed a hip replacement. Come back in a couple weeks and we will get you lined up. Lets do a bone scan. Got it done. Came back. Yep you def need a replacement. Come back in a few weeks we will get you lined up. I come in and get told we don't have the facilities to handle your size. I am very tall and very big. If he knew this was the case why in the heck did he keep me in pain for an extra few months and charge me for three visits. He could have done this at the first appt when I walked in. Ill tell you why. Chance to get me three rounds of pain meds. Which I wouldn't use anyway. And three paid visits. And Xrays. And bone scans. Kick back after kick back. Insurance abuse. Milk it out for all it's worth. I disputed the charges. They still insisted. And now its on my credit report. We will see how it plays out with my insurance company. I bet the Fed. Govt. wont think its too professional either.

My podiatrist does surgeries from this hospital so I had no choice but to come here. My treatment began back in September and has been ongoing up until now and I've had nothing but a good experience from the nurses to the lab techs to the food team to the environmental team. Everyone is polite and come with wonderful bedside manner. I think in all my emergency situations, thus will be my hospital of choice!

This was such a bad experience. It seemed like there were some unnecessary office visits (each…read morerelated to an office visit charge with a copay) and I did not understand why I was charged for office visits just to have blood drawn (especially when I had to pass two Labcorp centers to get there) or for quick conversations that could have occurred over the phone. There were also some issues with listening to me, as the patient. If I tell you, as a new patient, that I have had certain procedures, I do not expect to be challenged and told that it is not possible because they wouldn't do it. There are always exceptions to the textbooks. So I had to provide the surgical report before he would concede that I was correct. As such, my initial diagnosis was not even feasible due to a past surgery that I initially noted I had. Also, twice, I was prescribed meds that I specifically noted I could not take. Finally, after an unsuccessful surgery, I had to go to another gynecologist to get the initial issue addressed and resolved. While I am sure he is a nice person, this was not the gynecologist for me, due to the experiences noted.
