I've never been treated more rudely in all my life. They refused to help us and laughed at us for being stranded. We had to stay the night and the tire was easily fixed the next morning at a tire store. Turns out the tire was fine, the value stem had loosened and let the air out of the tire. An easy fix that Walmart could have done for us. I've never seen people get more pleasure out of seeing their fellow man in a helpless situation. They literally laughed in our faces. Update: 4 months later and during my state inspection, the mechanic found my coolant was extremely…read morelow. After a pressure test, the issue was the exact hose Firestone replaced... Come to find out, the heater hose that had been replaced wasn't even on correctly!! It was sliding on and off and would not click into place. I don't know if the gave me the wrong size hose, a faulty hose, or just didn't care enough to do it correctly, but there's no reason why it should break within 4 months. The reason I didn't fully dump coolant was because the hose expands when the car runs, so it creates a good seal. When it cools, since it wasn't on right, my car slowly leaked coolant over several months. I'm so glad that I ended up only paying 220 for this hose, because the original quote was over $600. If I had paid over 600 to get a hose that would break in less than a year, I'd be furious. I am still pretty upset because my mechanic thinks that Firestone just forced the hose to fit on there when it shouldn't have been. I will not take my car here again, that's for sure!

I paid roughly $2500 for the rebuild, and it breaks after only three months? Well, I took it back in, they fixed it, again, as it was under warranty. Five months later, it starts to slip. I take back in, this time, I checked the codes, and it showed something about a stuck shift solenoid, and they ignored me when I mentioned it. They "fixed" it, but it didn't seem right. Now I am questioning if I should have a full diagnostic at a proper dealership for my truck as it has broken yet again, and I'm reasonably certain I'm outside the warranty period, but no other Aamco is willing to look at it, insisting I go to the shop that did the initial work, and I don't want to pay another $2500 to maybe get another year out of my truck No..
