We worked with AppMakers to build our website & app for our family business (though I'd like to…read morekeep its nature under NDA). Let me be straightforward - these guys are the best in the game. We came in a bit worried because the space is known for scamminess, and we didn't know if what we wanted to build was even possible. AppMakers took us, taught us about everything along the way and built us a super professional, functional app that exceeded expectations. We highly recommend them to everyone.

First of all let me get started by stating how great their designs are and how responsive they were when I reached out. To the point that Yasha could not take my calls during my busy schedule BUT accommodated me by setting a second call with Bavesh, good guy too. Yasha and Bavesh agreed to a price, which was already double what I had originally budgeted for. But in the ball park of other app development companies that I vetted. With emails back and forth with Yasha, we agreed on a price. With ALL items specifically dictated in the emails. Once it was time to get the contract out and sign, Yasha tried to pull another amount out of me. This after reviewing all the docs, powerpoints I sent, multiple meetings and emails with exact information back and forth. "Bait and switch" come to mind. Needless to say I was very upset. Disappointed because I expected to be treated better than this. Not jerked around by a sales tactic in order to squeeze out a few more dollars. I emailed Yasha to certify that all emails were deleted and to comply with the NDA. He simply replied "Done". Upset, I sent a follow up email stating that there was no honor and that I was disappointed because I expected more from them. He had the AUDACITY to reply with a "thumbs up" emoji. No apology, no acknowledgement of wrong doing, just a "thumbs up" emoji. For someone who studied psychology (it's on his bio") that was incredibly immature. Anyway, great designs, bad experience. Buyer beware.

I eventually just gave up and fired them... their app developer used my app on his resume to get another job. Danny is a nice guy but he will say anything and everything to get your money. They might be good at simple projects... but if you need something complicated, go somewhere else!!! I lost so much money here that I nearly lost my company. I honestly never leave such bad reviews like this (check my profile) but these guys deserve it. I've got better service from teenagers before!! Just don't hire these guys... there are better web design company's in LA

No one was owning the sales process and making me feel comfortable investing in a new website. Having worked in the tech space for ten years I like to think, I'm pretty savvy and update with the pros and cons of working with an agency and was not afraid to spend the money to get the vision I wanted. I took the plunge with an agency who later turned out to be leading me up the garden path with there competency. I was $1500 down and decide to cut my losses and continue my search. What a mistake! You live and learn. My paranoia was at an all-time high! I then got introduced to Danny Alsaffar CEO from Giraffe Builders. Danny spent time understanding my requirements and relaxed me into the process. Within days we were rocking. I was beyond excited because he shared my vision and challenged me on a number of my points. Great! That's what I wanted. GB, crushed every deadline and we built an excellent understanding with Daniella who was instrumental in pulling the pieces together. Every company needs a Daniella. Energy, Drive with a passion for customer service. I loved using their project management tools! I work best when there is something to see, GB presented me with numerous visuals allowing me to point and aim feedback. So many agencies out there want to create a cookie cutter site and move on to the next. GB could not be further from this and genuinely felt like Danny was just as excited as me to complete the challenge. Can not thank them enough for there work and would happily speak to anyone that is looking to review their services. Fantastic work, you're the best agency in the jungle! I met TJ through people in the entertainment business who praised his excellent skill and people skills! Every single PICKY person, I have referred to TJ, to a person, called almost instantly to thank me. His solutions save me and my law firm thousands of dollars, on several occasions. Recently, we had a security breach in our office and within a few hours, our website and office was secure and "up and running". If it was anyone else, this would have taken weeks. Usually, TJ & his team, will work "off site" through sharing your computer on-line, to solve the problem right away and right "before your eyes". He has never wasted a second of my time or my money. I have been practicing law 25 years and believe he is the most cherished outside vendor with whom we have ever had the pleasure to do business. Truly the BEST of the BEST!!!!! Thank You. Paid Over $16,000 Across Two Engagements and Still Cannot Obtain Basic Service Records…read more I initially retained XCape for managed IT services that included Remote Monitoring and Management (RMM), Endpoint Security, Help Desk support, and Virtual CTO services. Over the course of that engagement, I paid more than $6,000 for those services. According to XCape's own proposal, the engagement was supposed to include proactive monitoring, security management, technical support, infrastructure planning, and Virtual CTO services. Based on the services described, I expected documentation, reporting, recommendations, assessments, monitoring records, ticket histories, and related work product. I also repeatedly requested on-site assistance and never received an on-site technician. Despite those concerns, I continued to place trust in the company and later engaged XCape for a separate software-development project known as Project Harold, paying an additional $10,000 advance. When that project also failed, I began requesting the operational and security records relating to my systems and the services XCape represented it had been providing, including monitoring records, security records, inventories, assessments, recommendations, reports, access records, ticket histories, and related documentation. I also requested assistance identifying administrative access, credentials, repositories, monitoring systems, and other infrastructure to which XCape personnel had access. As of the date of this review, I have not received documentation sufficient to satisfy those requests. The relationship ultimately deteriorated further and resulted in litigation-hold notices, formal demands, complaints submitted to multiple consumer and regulatory agencies, and pending litigation. Technology projects can fail. My concern is different. After paying more than $16,000 across two separate engagements, I was left asking basic questions about what services had actually been performed, what records existed to support those services, and what documentation would be produced when requested. Prospective customers should insist on contemporaneous documentation, reports, recommendations, monitoring records, ticket histories, and clearly defined deliverables throughout the engagement rather than waiting until a dispute arises. Photos Included Photo 1: Support ticket requesting immediate security, access-control, preservation, and transition assistance relating to systems XCape managed. Photo 2: XCape Invoice #2416 reflecting charges paid for Remote Monitoring & Management (RMM), Endpoint Security, Help Desk Support, and Virtual CTO services. Photo 3: XCape's written proposal describing the RMM, Endpoint Security, Help Desk, and Virtual CTO services represented as being provided under the engagement.
