That…read moresaid, I've tried plenty of other studios, from Campbell to Mountain View to Menlo Park, plus various studios while traveling, so I've seen the good, the bad, and the downright rough. Yoga Health Center stands out as one of the best. The instructors and staff are genuinely great, the space is always clean and welcoming, and the HVAC system is modern and well maintained, which matters a lot when you're doing hot yoga. They offer a solid variety of classes too, not just yoga but Pilates and other fitness options as well. On top of all that, it's a family owned small business, and you can feel it. They actually care about their customers, and it shows in every visit.

I understand the importance of punctuality, but locking the doors the same minute class begins with no grace period is extreme, especially for a wellness space meant to support mental health. Yoga is where I go to destress and reset. Instead I ended up feeling frustrated after taking the time out of my day and planning around the class. A little compassion and flexibility would go a long way especially for a studio that promotes mindfulness and balance.

This review is just for Khai's men's class on Wednesdays at 7:45pm. If you're unfamiliar, Google…read more"Khai Truong-Vinh" and the details are on the first link. I started taking these classes in San Francisco about two months ago when my out-of-town/state/country friend was visiting SF and insisted that I take his class. I was hesitant, but finally decided that this is exactly the type of thing that is a Bay Area vibe, so when in Rome, right...? I've had mostly positive experiences at the Sun Room in San Francisco, though individual instructors will connect with different students differentially, so finding the one who best suits you is a matter of personal taste. That said, I found that my strength, flexibility, and overall sense of comfort with my body has progressed in yoga more quickly than I expected. I've been looking forward to checking out the Menlo Park location for quite some time, as it's close to my work. Last night I finally left work on time and made this happen. Firstly, the location is convenient. Right off the main street, off-street parking and plenty of it, and centrally located on the peninsula. The venue itself is clean and well-maintained, a nice combination of homey and professional. The lighting is well-done and the vibe is very comfortable. Khai's instructional style is exactly as charismatic as you would hope for a person who's new to this, as I am. He's super-friendly, welcoming, encouraging, and connected with his students. He pushes you enough without pushing you too far. In a nutshell, he's the perfect yoga instructor. I'm definitely going to integrate Khai's Wednesday night class into my rotation, going when work and other responsibilities allow. It was just a fantastic experience with friendly people in a nice environment. Check out the link if you're interested, and if it's the type of thing you'd be into, I highly encourage giving it a try.

The class is about an hour and I think the poses that were taught helped get rid of my stress for the day and ease me in a calmer state of being for the night. I appreciated that she was attentive to her students and give great adjustments without being critical. She is very loving and compassionate. I think my only complaint about the studio was it was a bit hard to find and the parking was not as convenient was I would like. Otherwise, I intend to go back.

As a complete beginner, I couldn't have asked for a better introduction to yoga!…read more A huge thank you to my friends for bringing me along to my first-ever Power Flow class. Peyton was our instructor, and she was incredible--so motivating and really helped me stay present in the moment. I enjoyed it so much that I immediately signed up for the 3-class trial for $36. My second class was Sculpt & Flow with Peyton again. She was amazing as always--be prepared to drench in sweat, but you feel fantastic afterward! For my third class, I tried Anyssa's class, and she was equally wonderful. Both instructors bring such a great vibe, making you feel welcomed and completely comfortable, even if you're new. I just wish their room is a little bit bigger because the room gets packed and also wish they had a shower...would be useful after drenched in sweat and if you're planning to go somewhere after. They do hand out cold cleansing towel after class! Plus a refill station which is awesome. Special shoutout to Natalie, the yoga advisor, who was so polite and kind throughout the whole process. I will definitely be back.

I've taken Slow Flow, Power Flow, Restore, and Sculpt. Power Flow and Sculpt are definitely more challenging and are great when I'm in the mood for something that feels a bit more like a Pilates-style workout, while Slow Flow and Restore offer a more traditional yoga experience. One thing I really appreciate is how welcoming and respectful the studio is. The staff are always kind, and the instructors bring such positive energy to every class. Even when classes are full, the studio never feels overcrowded. There's always enough space between me and my neighbors. I'm usually not a fan of heated workouts, but for the heated classes, the temperature here feels very manageable. Unlike some other studios I've tried, I never felt dizzy or nauseous from the heat. I also love how thoughtful they are about consent and personal preferences. They provide cards that allow you to indicate whether or not you'd like hands-on adjustments from the instructors. At the end of class, instructors ask us to wave if you prefer not to have the scented towel (usually lavender or citrus) waved over you. The instructors also celebrate class milestones and make everyone feel recognized (I got a shout-out after completing my third class!). These small details really show how much they care about creating a comfortable environment for everyone. Overall, I love the variety of classes, the supportive instructors and staff, the emphasis on consent and comfort, and the cleanliness of the studio. Highly recommend!

The studio is located in a very pleasant shopping mall area with Starbucks, restaurants, UPS, etc. nearby. Easy access from US-101, plenty of parking. The facility is very clean, well-organized, they have showers, which is great if you need to go to work right after a class and don't have time to go back home in between. The unlimited membership comes with a free week and then a $119 for the first month. They offer health care discounts. Their sales manager Melissa is great and very responsive. Highly recommend if you want to get in great shape.

She was super helpful when I checked in as well. Unfortunately, although she was wearing a microphone, it wasn't working so she had to yell out directions, and it was difficult to hear with the music. I also rented a mat and it did smell very strongly of feet. This location is definitely cleaner and larger than the Palo Alto location, but I'm not sure I'll be back just since it seems like they might not clean the mats and it was really noticeable throughout the entire class (I understand we also wipe them down but I would hope they'd more thoroughly clean them too), especially for the high rental price.

The community, the instructors, the professionalism, and especially the structure of the classes have all made such a huge difference for me. I regularly take the 8 PM Inferno classes with Aiko and Melanie and the 7:30 Pilates Sculpt with Sam, and I absolutely love them. The class is challenging (as it should be!), but the instructors and the community really push you, encourage you, and somehow get you through those moments when you're questioning why you signed up for this . I was honestly pretty nervous to start coming here, but I'm SO glad I did. I can genuinely say I look forward to coming to class with my friends. The studio itself is always clean, the owner is kind, and incredibly welcoming, and the playlists are always . You can really tell that there's so much thought and care put into the experience. Thanks j8!

I've been going to the Hot Sculpt class every Saturday at 8:30 AM and I really enjoy the classes!…read moreThey're challenging but so much fun. I did want to mention the music because personally, I haven't been loving it in some of the recent classes. I think music makes a big difference in how motivated I feel while working out. I'm more into throwbacks and R&B and personally would love a little less EDM. But that's just my preference! Saturday class was actually really good... I really liked the music and it made the workout way more enjoyable for me. I also tried adding some songs to the Spotify playlist but it wouldn't let me. It would be cool if members could request songs or maybe vote on what kind of music they want before class. I also think themed classes would be so fun! Like a 49ers Day, Pajama Day, different music themes, or even a Breast Cancer Awareness class next month. Little things like that could make the classes even more fun and bring everyone together. Just wanted to share a little feedback on the music and some ideas that I think could make the classes even better. I will always be back 8:30 am Saturdays!

All the instructors I've tried so far (Katie Gaddini, Ren Vardi, and…read moreanother name I can't recall) are excellent--they're attentive to individual class goers and try to help each person with form or offer modifications--to make an exercise either more challenging or more accessible. The studio is clean and well-kept, yoga mats are disinfected after every use. The floors are a finished cork material that are a little easier on the joints. The front desk staff are always kind and courteous. I always feel genuinely welcome whenever I come in, which is a huge reason why I keep returning. The parking situation is free street parking on Old County Rd. Usually there's at least a spot available, but give yourself a few minutes before class in case you need to maneuver into a spot on the opposite side of the road. One unique aspect of this studio is the play lounge. For a nominal fee and advanced reservation, a childcare provider can look after your child(ren) during your class, with plenty of toys and activity materials provided. So far I have not needed to use this perk, so I can't speak to experiences there, but it's still something special I have not seen at other fitness studios. Another thing to note is that a few of the classes are livestreamed, so if recording bothers you, just check the class at the time of booking. Most of the studio goers are women in their 20s-40s. I have seen several mature attendees and Katie was great about checking on them during more challenging poses in the mindful flow classes. Everyone wears fitness attire ranging from sports bras, tank tops, t-shirts, leggings, shorts etc. During the barre classes, many go barefoot, some choose to wear grippy socks. I love the judgment-free environment here. We are all at different stages of our fitness journey, and everyone is welcome in this studio.
