He would not allow anyone to move her and called for an ambulance. I don't know if the outcome would've changed but what he did help protect my mother and I am so grateful and so is the rest of my family. There are different areas to work out in depending what you want to do so I tend to stick to some of the same areas. I really like the Body Pump classes. All the ladies are great instructors and it makes lifting more fun with the music. And it is also difficult and get for muscle endurance! They recently added Yoga which is a nice addition for a gym to not have to pay extra from the membership or go to a separate place to get Yoga classes.

Admittedly, I fell off track after I completed the first round. I kept working out, but eating out and social drinking got the best of me. I am back on Brik, and I have cut out almost all processed foods, limited my alcohol intake drastically, and cut back on coffee. But notice, I didn't say 100%. And that's the great thing. Some of the other gyms might recommend a chicken and broccoli only diet-Kaia doesn't do that. It's plant based, really delicious food, and it's not militant. I love that. As cliche as it sounds, they really are a lifestyle-nutrition, exercise, community . . .and I am drinking the (all natural) Kool aid. LOL I know that I will have my ups and downs, but I know that Kaia is consistently there for me to go get a great workout, be around genuinely nice people, laugh every morning at 5 a.m., and grow and learn more about ME-mind, body, soul. I feel like if I stick with it, I will continue to see great results. I would suggest Kaia to anyone looking for a home gym, where they can feel supported.

I have been coming here for a few years now and I've seen quite a few different doctors for…read moredifferent things wrong in my body! Dr. Fyda did my knee surgery in January. Last July 2025 I fell down my stairs and broke my left hip, I had to go to the emergency room and a doctor over at Swift Institute was on the Emergency side of it, and replaced my hip with a few screws. Well, the screws were coming out as I walked, so I saw Dr. Winkle back at great basin, and he said you're gonna have to have your hip totally replaced, as the screws are poking out.! I ended up in the hospital a few days after surgery with a stomach problem, and he actually came by to see me, and it had nothing to do with my hip, he just wanted to make sure I was OK! Absolutely incredible Dr, I highly recommend him and any doctor at Great Basin Orthopedics! The best! I needed a nausea medicine, and unbeknownst to Dr. Winkle the medicine he gave me for nausea also helped the stomach problem I was having so I could eat again, no other doctor has ever prescribed that medicine for me and I get these stomach issues a lot, we were really impressed! Thanks Dr Winkel!! I cannot believe how well I am doing, love my new life!!

Today I was invited to check it out so I stepped out of my comfort zone and said yes. Of course it was their recovery day/beginner workout but I did it. Kris was so nice, she kindly corrected my form on some movements without making me feel like a total embarrassment. Plus, it's a 2 minute walk from my work so it makes it easy to drop in for a class. I may or may not go again but now I'm glad to say I've been to the most popular CrossFit gym in Reno. I usually stick to running, yoga, swimming, cycling, walking, and lifting. But this is super cool and VERY CLEAN!
