It doesn't seem much to ask, but I have been…read moreconsistently disappointed by the tendency of many other PT's, chronic pain specialists and chiropractors to fall back on a standardized "bundle" of exercise therapies to address my particular issues. So, next, I asked a Neeurologist for her opinion. I was particularly interested in her opinion both from her medical training and the fact that she had practiced for 10 years as a PT before earning her M.D. I needed someone who would simply listen, I explained. Someone I could have confidence in to tailor a "PT prescription", as it were, to my unique circumstances. Did she know someone that fit that description? What I got was immensly more satisfying than simply someone who could give me a "PT prescription". Kevin (Votta), owner of Fitness-tek, is not only a master level muscle activation technique (MAT) specialist,, but before all, he is a quiet, considerate and confidence inspiring llistener. This singular, essential attribute is not only what differentiates Fitness-tek in the personal training business, but even more remarkable, it is what constitues the essence of the Fitness-tek brand. Credible, effective and sustainable solutions to chronic physical issues like mine. The best recommendation I can offer is this. I have sought relief from chronic pain from doctors and therapists from coast-to-coast over the past three years. From a tier-1 teaching hospital like University of California San Diego to the Mayo Clinic, I can without reservation or exageration say there is no finer trainer/therapist anywhere to be found in my experience. I unequivocally offer Kevin my highest recommendation.

Once active, I was becoming sedentary and gaining weight. My doctor did not want me on heavy meds to keep me moving in my late 50s. Kevin gave me back my life. Sure I still have aches but I recover over night and am ready to go again the next day. I am playing pickleball 4 days a week, hiking, bicycling and enjoying life with less medicines. We have moved from Tampa but the techniques I have learned and videos saved, have helped me when I find a muscle group acting up.
