They have all type of levels from beginner to advanced. The beginner class was nice in which they take their time explaining everything and going on a pace that's easy to follow especially if you are new to the machines. This was so helpful! The instructor was nice and was able to come around and help everyone out. This definitely is the ideal class for any newbie to reformers! The number of students in the class was perfect..not too many people so instructor can help everyone. This place is very cleaned and well maintained. All staff were so welcoming and nice! The instructors are fantastic and everyone is so helpful. Even the instructor's not facilitating class but taking are the best people to sit next to. The bathrooms are really clean.The amenities are very high end. Excited to see if we're gonna be able to continue this trend past grand opening. I hope they get a variety of socks to sell for those people who have never experienced reformer. My best friend is a size 12 men's, but he was okay with his regular socks. And you can still get in and out in the time it takes you just to get your warm up done at a conventional gym. I joined Lean Dog at the start of March 2023, after a year and a half of a new desk job - my first time ever sitting for 8hrs a day for work. I'm an athlete by nature and previous training, so this felt like dying! My husband ended up hearing about Lean Dog, and went for about a month before I was able to join. With 30 minute trainer based sessions, on machines that I didn't have to think hard to use, I knew it fit my needs for quick recovery. I worked the time slots into my schedule with ease, though they're great about working with your time. By the end of month one, my physical performance had increased remarkably! Being able to see your progress in real time is cool. I was sleeping better/feeling better overall. I finally feel like I'm not going backwards. I had to pause my membership a bit into month two due to my schedule changing/financial needs changing, but I look forward to my next sessions. The strength and reliability I have back in my body is so great! I have to add that, after training on my own as well, the gains I have in things like running after two months here was immense - better than I have had in years. Lean Dog's recovery program is the best part of this gym. The trainers are all wonderful - Rachel, Nate, and Mike were my main trainers- and they were able to help me push past my mental limits, and get a better push to fatigue! Every trainer I had time with kept a firm focus on form, and made sure I wasn't compromising anywhere or causing myself pain. I feel better than ever and can't wait to go back. Class packages are good for one year. I actually had a long break in between using my classes due to life stuff and grief, but when I came back, I knocked out my 7 remaining classes in a month. Time flies. Not gonna lie, before I started working out in general, the sessions at Envy left me feeling nauseous. They were intense for me. However, as my body got conditioned and got in better shape through various gyms and consistent exercise, the workouts became easier. The owner, Britny, is always a smiling friendly face when you visit and you can tell that she truly cares about her members and the brand. The integrity she carries along with her staff solidified my decision that this location was the perfect location to kickstart my health journey once again. The HIIVE has yet to officially have their grand opening, but I've already gone every chance I get. I took my journey a step further and ended up adding on personal training to my membership. Thomas is awesome and attentive! It was a no brainer to choose him to train with. For years , I've had gym memberships around the valley and would just attend classes and never used the machines aside from a treadmill here and there. TBH, it can be intimidating. Thomas removed all that fear and together we set up a goal and a plan, judgement-free. I always tend to get insecure with movement and machines due to a neuromuscular autoimmune disease I have. It provides sporadic muscle weakness, balance issues, coordination problems...the list goes on and on. To top it off, I'm a flight attendant and my schedule is all over the place every month. Basically, I have every reason not to show up for myself. However, that doesn't stop the staff from keeping me accountable and I appreciate it to the fullest. Thomas adjusts my workouts and movements as he sees fit and listens to any concerns I voice. Everyone overall is always so eager to see you and assist. There's even gorgeous locker rooms and showers so that I can clean up and head out with no excuses. I can't wait to see where this journey takes me!
