They will not put in any effort towards communicating with you about your health goals unless you are physically at the location and ask them to do their job. Sessions are only 25 min long, not enough time to actually get knowledgeable information or a full workout in. Not when their prices don't go below $200+ dollars a month. You sign up for X amount of months but if you don't cancel in person after those months and have them do it in front of you, they will keep charging you with NO REFUND or services. Management is very poor, and so is the communication between the employees there. I talked to several employees there about canceling my membership for a week and when I finally spoke to a manager, they never received that message. There are way better gyms out there with better and more personable employees. Also, they didn't have a trainer that could work with my schedule for over a month and did nothing about it, I had to switch my schedule around so I could at least get something out of this Personal training that I over paid for.

You can call it an Oranje Theory if you like. But as for the gym, not so much. I've worked out at one (I have friends in low places) and visited several, including this one. I'm not a fan of Orangetheory because it's really hard to get out of your contract once you're locked in and it's kind of expensive - but worst of all you can't even use any extra equipment here. You just take classes and take classes and take more classes so if you're not someone who likes to take classes then it's not for you - and perhaps the worst thing of all is that you can't randomly decide that you don't like the classes and want to actually work out on the equipment because they don't offer that service. So if you sign up and don't dig the classes, ugh. You're in trouble. Best to avoid it. However, 3 stars because the people I talked to in here were pretty cool.

The coaches are extremely motivating, knowledgeable encouraging, and helpful which made me love this place even more. I've also met some wonderful people being a member of OTF Southtowns which is the reason why I keep on going. The 2G and 3G workouts, benchmarks and specialty workouts are really intense but it's a workout regimen that you are glad you did when finished. Orange Theory Southtowns is the best thing I have ever done to kickstart my fitness journey. Even more, the members, staff and coaches have become my second family! Oh did I mention your first workout is free! The packages are on the high side but, it more than makes up for it for the personal attention they give you to make your workout your own.     This is a new studio in Orchard Park. They use Megaformers here. Think Pilates reformers on…read moresteroids. I think there are 8 Megaformers in the lovely studio space. Parking is in back and the entrance is right there too, super convenient. Going in there is a beautiful reception area with comfortable seating. Sign In is easy. You can come dressed in workout clothes or change in one of the three large restrooms. Two of them that I saw had nice large showers as well. I didn't see bath towels so assume you bring those. I'd suggest bath mats in those rooms though as the floors will be slippery when wet. The class itself is a timed 40 min. Each day the sequence is different, I'm not sure if this is a national program that all places follow (like orange theory) or if the owner is making them up daily. But they will be different. This is not a chain so I imagine she's making up the routines daily. She holds a stopwatch and each exercise is done at your own pace, not by rep numbers. The idea is sloooow movements. And she will encourage you to go slooooower. So it's all about that movement and not relaxing or resting for that movement period. It's a full body workout, all low impact, but depending on how hard you work it could result in a raised heart rate. If done right it will likely result in some sore muscles, many you may not have felt for a long time. The movements are designed to hit areas you won't get from running or weight lifting. I enjoyed it a lot. I felt the exercises during and after the session. You'll get results quickly if you come here regularly (2,3 times a week). This is a nice addition to the options in Orchard Park and the Buffalo area. 2020

The instructor assisted me with how to properly stand/pull/bend/push/contort so that the proper muscles were being utilized to their fullest potential. The class flew by - we were busy working every moment and didn't really have time to think about a drink of water (I did pause to wipe sweat out of my eyes). I took my first class last night, and this morning I went to my regular work out and I couldn't believe how many muscles in unusual areas (such as in my stomach) ached. It doesn't matter if you are a beginner or expert, everyone is learning. 2.) It doesn't matter how fit/chubby/skinny you are, everyone is on their own journey to reach their goals. 3.) The trainers are always knowledgeable, safe, and provide quality classes. 4.) The classes are challenging, but not overwhelming. Every class I've ever taken has made me feel BETTER than when I came in. Lastly, I have been a member at KC's at all it's inceptions. I started in my 20's single, and now I'm married and my whole family are KC's members. KC fitness is not just a gym, Kevin builds a community, a community that has the foundation on the idea of "Love conquers fear" (Amor vincit timorem). As we train, we are taught to love our opponent.
