Yes it gets crowded but you should expect that at any gym during certain times. What really gets 5 starts though is the kids academy. The whole staff there is really awesome. They take care of kids like their own. I feel safe and confident leaving my little ones there while I exercise.

It also makes me wonder...if somone is comfortable publicy criticizing local businesses, how are members treated if they have a disagreement or decide to cancel their membership after a year or two? That uncertainly alone would make me think twice. Based on what I've seen, I would not feel comfortable becoming a member and would not recommend it.

I am mentioning the competition because I see great gyms like this having to compete with gimmicky places that are not at all conserved with fitness (see one of 100+ videos on YouTube about this). They clientele ranges from people who are totally out of shape to Elite athletes. The great thing about the severely out of shape clientele is that they don't stay that way for long (awesome). I heard someone talking about how being in the Gold's Gym Bridgewater environment really helped then get in shape, a place where people mind there own business but are totally willing to help if asked. The member had previously been at "Planet Fitness" and had no access to any real guidance and were (literally) fed pizza at this Walmart of Fitness (the high cost of low price). It is this conversation I had with a member that made me think to compare and contrast these businesses with VERY different motives again, look up Planet Fitness on YouTube, if it sounds like I have something against them it's because I do, I don't like seeing people getting mislead and taken advantage of. A true nurturing environment is one where people who are competitive bodybuilders/true athletes are totally willing to (if asked) to help out anyone who asks and those that are new are welcomed by the training staff and members alike, just a great vibe. I myself came in pretty out of shape and in a few months I am on my way back to being in great shape, I attribute a lot of this to the top-notch equipment and pleasant environment of this gym. His workouts are rigorous, challenging, but fun. As the weeks go by, we are noticing how much stronger we are getting and how our endurance is strengthening. He makes sure each workout is never the same and that we target all the parts of our body that we want to work on. If you have an injury he works around it and is very knowledgeable on how to rehab it. He pushes hard so that you get the most out of your workout but knows when to stop so that you don't hurt yourself. You will be sore and cursing his name for days, but that is what you need for results....plus, he is the nicest guy and you can't hate on him too long :) For most adults over 30, we know that we cannot work out hard and eat whatever we want and still look good. He will send you recipes, shopping lists, and even goes as far as getting supplements for you so that you have no excuses not to have them. In the winter it's either too cold in the beginning of the class or it is to humid and hot by the end due to the fact that the climate control does not work and the owners refuse to get it properly fixed. They will sometimes bring a nifty fan in to hold over the weeks where there is no air at all . This location does not update the Ipads and they are very glitchy. Sometimes the Ipads reset themselves because they have not been properly updated and occasionally they will stop in the middle of the workout. When that happens, it throws off the recording of your distance. This is supposed to be a high-end boutique workout studio. There is plenty of competition around. Needs work.

I am so happy that I discovered this place during the holidays last year! Not only is this place close to where my family lives, but it's beautiful! Even though I only go to 2-3 classes here a year, the owner always remembers me and greets me warmly. The instructors could not be nicer or more professional, but the workouts are always well planned and fun. I also appreciate the gentle hands-on assists to correct my form and find them very helpful. I've noticed that instructors tend to call people out by name as well, which is very motivating and frankly pretty impressive. As mentioned earlier, the studio is beautiful, immaculately clean (this applies to the bathroom as well) and well stocked with tubes, balls and different weights. I can be quite a judgmental germophobe at times, but it's so clean in the barre room that I did not think twice about allowing my hair to touch the carpeting or using a studio mat. A few other nice features are the water bottle filling station, cubbies for storing your stuff, a boutique with some super cute workout gear and easy parking in a huge lot. The schedule offers classes at many times throughout the day and for all different levels. If I lived closer, I would definitely be a member here!
