I had an extremely disappointing and frustrating experience with this location. I was injured during my first assisted stretching session. The following morning, I experienced significant groin and pelvic pain that was later confirmed with imaging as a pelvic fracture along with a left adductor strain, both requiring medical treatment. I have since been advised by my physician to discontinue assisted stretching entirely. Because of this, I was unable to continue services and requested a partial refund for the unused portion of my membership as a reasonable resolution. Instead of addressing this, I was repeatedly offered alternatives such as transferring the membership to my husband or extending it for future use. My husband is not comfortable participating given my experience, and I am medically unable to use these services going forward. I made multiple attempts to resolve this directly, but received no response from management before leaving the country. I am very disappointed by the lack of communication and follow-up. Being ignored in a situation involving a documented injury is not acceptable and reflects a lack of professionalism. I also contacted corporate, who confirmed the issue was escalated to the studio owner. As of now, the matter remains unresolved. I still hope the business will take responsibility and work toward a fair resolution. read more

I have been going to Stretch Zone Palm Desert once a week for the past 10 months. After having struggled with sciatic pain for several months I gave "Assistive Stretching" a chance (in April 2025) and within the first 6 sessions my sciatic pain disappeared completely, and I have been pain free since that time. Their assistive stretching technique has been the most effective form of "physical therapy" for me. It is very safe, the practitioners are all very professional, well trained, use the same technique and are knowledgeable. Assistive stretching has now become part of my overall "body maintenance" weekly regimen, and far more effective than deep tissue body massage for dealing with hip and joint aches and pains. If you want long lasting results Stretch Zone is the way to go, at least once per week. Once you start going to Stretch Zone your body won't want you to stop! read more

Great staff bad management My membership was seamless. They changed the way you become a member a monthly fee to use your prepaid sessions. My husband opted out, but the fellow that was signing him up said no I could just go in now and cancel the monthly fee so he could still do his sessions . Old car salesman trick suddenly his computer was down so he couldn't manually make the monthly fee go away. He wrote on a sticky note. Said he would take care of it when the computers came back up.. To my surprise charged the 109 yet again, said he was going to discontinue it. So again he shows up another fee I was livid , clearly they don't care about their customers. As I was going in for my consultation complementary first stretch another person who had just had their consultation complementary 30 minute stretch was signing up for a membership. After my session, I signed up for a membership, and as I was exiting a walk-in was signing up for a membership. So that should tell you that the Stretch Zone works!! I highly recommend it as I've been dealing with back pain and a horrific sciatica and found great relief by doing stretches that I could not do alone which highly benefited my body and improved my situation. Owner and or manager is a scammer and a fraud. Signed up for 4 sessions and he made it a recurring charge without my knowledge or consent. It doesn't qualify for a free stretch. I don't know about you, but I've been in business for a long time and if they're really hurting to give a free stretch when they've already promised me what else are they going to back out of customer service to me very poor waste my time have me drive 6 miles out of my way For nothing. Some have drive to get there only to find out they are not getting a free session- but they will do a paid one.... because they don't like that you live more than 5 miles away. Now- what local to them is seems to vary. I was told they "sort of" service Palm Springs to Indio.... but if you live north of the 10- you're out of luck. I previously posted on the good experience that I was having at the stretch zone. Today I went in for my last appointment. I brought my very large tip for the gentleman that was stretching me. I walked in and it's over 100° out and the front doors open, what idiot did that. I found out when I went in all the staff had changed except for a couple of the stretch technicians. The technician I had an appointment for was not there. It was my last appointment. I do not know what happened. There needs to be an explanation or I will not go again. The price is crazy and to get out of contract on top Of paying 360 they wanna charge 120 but they don't tell you that when you sign up for it and you need to pay 360 for three months. The manager his name is Dakota a real piece of work with no people skills. He acted as if it's coming out of his check and that I'm being such an inconvenience to his day first thing in the am just to pay 120 to get out of contract. He must be the worst manager I've ever dealt with in my life. His assistant should definitely be the head because spencer has great communication skills. Whatever is going on with this Dakota guy he shouldn't be taking it out on customers. He is the worst. And I never write bad reviews but that guy Dakota clearly isn't good for this place.
