Not sure if it's something you have to purchase with a membership or not. A separate comment- there is a review with one star from a year ago by Renea about a bad experience at the front desk with someone called Lisa. Not only have I never had an experience like that in 300 classes over two years, but I don't even know who Lisa is/was. The core four at the front are Blakeley, Kia, Brittany, and Benton. They are professional, experienced, and attentive. From new to seasoned, they treat everyone like family. In short, I love OTF Madison and encourage anyone at any level of fitness to try. I came out to MS for work and I was SEARCHING for some sort of work out place, (too much delish southern food does NOT do a body good....) and randomly stumbled upon Pure Barre! Having done Bar Method in CA, I was like OMG OMG OMG Barre in MS!?! I literally grabbed my wallet in an INSTANT and signed up for a class. I'm totally glad i did! Everyone at the studio is suuper sweet and helpful, and talk about a kick butt work out! Your thighs will burn, and you will see results really quick! (That's what I'm all about!) Its a more pricey than your normal gyms, but when you have small class sizes, and RESULTS, its totally worth it. They are about to open another location in Jackson! (which is closer to my hotel) so I will be sad to not frequent the Ridgeland Location as much :( But if your in or around the Ridgeland/Rennesance/Madison area, check it out!!

For this reason, I could tell stories of some of the worst places I have stumbled upon, but I will sum it up with there has been a time or two I have walked out of places thinking I may need to go and get a tetanus shot or should have worn a CDC suit. I visit Jackson at least once or twice a year and have tried various gyms, but they have all fallen short of meeting the needs of my routine and expectations compared to what they charge a visit to workout. To paraphrase, there are places I have walked out of and my hands were black from filth! Driving, I saw Starke off the freeway and stopped in to see what their equipment setup and fees were for someone from out of town. For only being 8 months old, it is filled with all new equipment, but you could see that the management took ownership in keeping it organized, clean and friendly. I really appreciated that they worked out a rate for me based on the fact that I am from out of town and were welcoming along the way. The equipment and facilities are great! There is a lot of attention to detail and great separation of space depending up what you want to focus on in your routine. The men's locker room was clean and professionally appointed. They have a kids area and plenty of parking. It is great to know that I have a place like this to come back to when I am in town.
