After…read morebeing a member for almost a year and a half, you would think some grace would be offered at cancellation, considering the amount of money I have poured into this institution, however, HOTWORX makes it so difficult to cancel. instead of being able to outright cancel, you either have to pay for 2 months up front, or a $99 cancellation fee. All I am saying, is if you are considering getting a membership here, think carefully about your choice. Things happen. Life happens. And HOTWORX does not care about you or your financial situation, all you are is money to them. I will add that the one in Madison seems to be more sensitive to people, and their situations. Having been a member of both locations, Madison treats you like family, as opposed to money.

I was here for a few days for work training but really wanted to try to get in the salt room…read moreexperience and a massage, my time was super limited but I showed up at 10:02am (salt room started at 10) and Shameka (sorry if I spelled it wrong!) was SO accommodating, she got me in the salt room, I had the whole room to myself! I expressed to her that I was thinking about getting a massage as well, but had to be at work at 1pm. She suggested the Aquamassage they just got the day before, and MAN was she right! I did the 20 minute option which is equivalent to an hour long regular massage. Everyone was so accommodating and nice, if you're a local or here for a visit I HIGHLY RECOMMEND stopping by!

Their facilities are not only the cleanest and open, but it is very apparent that thought and love was taken into account when they designed the spa/studio. Everything from the cobblestone shower floor to the design of the lockers and studio. It is a testament to Tara and her staff's commitment to excellence in the practice of yoga. I attended the teacher training and I would not suggest it to anyone. The teacher didn't show up to…read morethe classes often, but got upset if others couldn't be there due to health reasons or other things. I felt it was disorganized and we learned more from a book than actually learning to teach yoga. I ended up knowing a lot of useless information. The teacher barely prepared us for her test and it was obviously put together last minute. The teacher also made a big deal about my weight because I am a smaller girl. She mentioned my weight every class and I felt it was inappropriate to do in front of the entire class. In the end I learned everything not to do as a yoga teacher. I never went back to the studio after the teacher training because of how horrible my experience was.
