Overall, she's definitely one that cares about this establishment! I got a 90m deep tissue. I really needed it! My body is aching so much! This place is quiet and I dont hear others in their respective rooms. I told the manager (I think) what areas I needed work on and she relayed that to my masseuse. I definitely got my shoulders focused on and it was great. I really needed this relaxing moment and my kinks all kneaded out. 90m felt like 30m. Its always too fast! Yeeeep - we're not ever going anywhere else now…read more This place uses tiger's balm (or something like it mixed with their oil), so there is a pleasant tingly feeling when you are on the table. These tiny women are strong - do not be fooled, they can get deeep into your muscles. They are clearly trained in their craft - and my massage felt like it had a certain order/sequence, that definitely made sense. The stretches were perfect, and there were definitely a few that a chiropractor would be proud of lol. Pressure was perfect, hot stones were perfect, walking on back was perfect. I really can't wait to go back and I don't recall having a massage I've enjoyed as much, and this considers that I've gone to a wide range (your 250+ Burke Williams massages and 50+ random asian place massages). Massage was a mix of deep tissue/thai in terms of the stretching, but I would not call it full Thai (as we were definitely on a table, with oil, and the active stretching part was not until the last 10 minutes at the end). This is likely to adjust to their clients' preferences though.

I asked if they knew how to do a Swedish massage as advertised and was told yes. As I was getting a massage, it didn't feel like my normal Swedish massage, so I asked if she knew how to do Swedish. She said that she doesn't but can do an Asian massage but that wasn't what I wanted. Why did they already say that they could do it when they couldn't? Since I already paid, there was nothing that I could do. It was ok but not what I asked for. They also charged an extra $2 for using my credit card. I probably won't return because I didn't get what I asked for. There are so many places to choose from and you need to listen to the customer.

I decided to give this place another chance this weekend and unfortunately, this experience was…read moreeven worse than my last one. I honestly don't know if I would even call what I received a massage. It felt more like lotion being rubbed all over my body with occasional tapping just to pass the time. There was very little actual massage technique or pressure. I even mentioned my concern during the session but the response was that I needed to "relax my body." I get massages at least 3 times a month so I'm very familiar with what a good massage feels like. This was not it. I gave this establishment another opportunity after my previous disappointing experience because I believe in second chances, but I definitely won't be returning again. For only about $5 more, I've had significantly better experiences at Cloud 9 and Elegant Massage nearby. The difference in quality is unbelievable. If Yelp allowed 0-1/2 a star, that's what I would give this experience. It was a complete waste of my time and money. I rarely say this, but I genuinely would not recommend this place at ALL! It's pretty horrible.

She seemed concerned that I showed up for my appointment, so I confirmed several times that someone was available to give me my 1 hour massage with hot stones. Right away she wanted me to pay for the service even though I had not received it. Fine she settled the service, takes me to a room, then she tells me the masseuse is busy and if I want to come back or wait 30 minutes. I got annoyed that she didn't tell me this before settling the payment. Then after I complained she said she could do half of the massage and then the other masseuse would finish. She said they were busy, but I had an appointment and if she couldn't provide the service then why have me pay in advance. So the first woman that did the massage was awesome, the second woman was very lame all she did was rub with minimal pressure. I won't be returning for another massage here. I have them 3 stars due to plenty of parking and the first of the massage being great.

My second experience - I booked in advance again with Jane. Someone from the spa called me to change my time 30 minutes later - no problem. I get there and I'm taken to the massage room. First problem, my therapist was NOT Jane. I was not notified on the call that the therapist was not available- wasn't even mentioned. Fine, I thought it would be ok to try someone else. The massage was sub par - didn't seem like they knew how to position me (prenatal) I had to ask for pillows for support. They used a pregnancy pillow that was tucked in with a sheet. Didn't flip the pillow around when I needed to switch sides. Overall not a good experience. I think I'm being generous with three stars. Only because that first experience with Jane was heavenly. Took off one star for the 2nd bad experience, and another star for not letting me know in advance that the therapist was not available. Really wanted to like this place. :(
