    Upon entering the lobby, you'll see this is a car lovers haven! There are different years, makes and models all over the place. Bring paper towels for yourself to keep from drooling. You'll walk endlessly down the narrow aisles admiring one car over another. A nice place to visit to buy a vintage or sell your vintage vehicle.

    Got a 65 mustang fastback from here. Tray was amazing, he was able to answer all my questions got back to me promptly and even found somebody local to do a couple things. I wanted to do the car before it got shipped to me. If you're looking for a classic car, I really don't understand why you would go anywhere else. Very easy to work with super accurate on pricing. This place goes above and beyond for you.. thank you guys for getting me my dream car

    Came here for the first time and it's a great place to look at classic cars in one location. it took a while for some to ask if we need any help, they were nice just far and few in between. When it comes time to buy, we will be checking this place out, that's for sure!!

    Would not trust with a single $1. Buy with EXTREME CAUTION and don't believe a single word they…read moresay. I bought an Opel from this dealership at their Tampa location and was told everything was in working order and was drivable. It was NOT in working order and the driving video shared was apparently from many months prior. First of all, they got the year wrong on the paperwork, which meant all of the paperwork had to be redone. I told them I would sign the new paperwork when I arrived in a week and a half time. After badgering me everyday for days to sign the updated paperwork remotely (should have been a big red flag, but I thought I could trust these guys), I signed the updated paperwork. They were clearly badgering me to sign the updated paperwork because the car was far from drivable. There was a MAJOR leak coming from the fuel tank (gushing ounces of fuel a second) AND a carburetor fuel leak, constantly dripping fuel inches from the exhaust header. Far from drivable. On top of this, they had to cold start the engine with starting fluid directly to the carburetor (likely also related to the carburetor leak issue, but sorting through that at the moment). Now when buying a classic car, I expect to have to do some work. I'm not complaining about the following, but would have appreciated being aware of these before buying - the headlights didn't work; one brake light was out; the aftermarket alarm for the car didn't work; there were some exterior and interior blemishes that conveniently weren't captured in various picture angles (I actually think some photos were doctored looking back at the picture, but obviously hard to prove)... These alone are annoying, but all of them are expected in buying a 50+ year-old classic car. What is NOT expected is to show up to a dealership expecting to drive a car away for them to have to start a car with starting fluid and when they add fuel, have that fuel pouring out of the bottom of the gas tank. Even if those were fixed, fuel dripping onto the exhaust headers is a recipe for highway disaster. I talked with the corporate team who felt this was an appropriate way to deal with customers. No redressability or accountability!

    Listen Up. I HATE…read morecar shopping. I hate it so much. I dislike everything about car shopping. However, I do like Hendrick VW of Concord. This is going to be a lengthy review, prepare yourself. I came in here before work one morning. This is after I had been to multiple car dealerships, including the other VW dealership on the south side of Charlotte. I had been haggled, lied to, made to wait for HOURS, and I was tired. I hit this wall when car shopping, that I just get so frustrated that I go home. Enough for the back story. Ready for this? 5 STARS TO HENDRICK VW OF CONCORD. Not only, did I come in one morning on a time limit because I had to get to work. But I was in a rush and told them that I needed a miracle deal. I put far too many miles on my old VW lease and needed to get into something new. I sat down with Kayla and told her exactly what I wanted, I had done research and generally knew what I was looking for (stars to me for doing my homework). She was very friendly and understanding, helpful and aware of my time where I had to leave. She introduced me to Anthony Montoya - MONTOYA - I even held back any and all Princess Bride quotes. More stars for me! The first price that Anthony brought to me was WAY too high (I almost took a star away for this, but I guess its understandable for a car dealership? Worth a high offer shot). I told him that I had done my homework, and I didn't want to pay that price. The second price that he brought to me was EXACTLY where I wanted to be. But alas, I had to get to work - he said NO PROBLEM, and asked if I could come back tomorrow. What?! When does a dealership EVER say no problem?!? I loved it. So, I came back the next day, test drove the Jetta and went home happy. As Anthony and I were doing the financial paperwork, I kept waiting for a slam of extra cost or some hidden fees that I hadn't noticed. But it never happened. He explained every single fee and cost, told me why they charge it that way, and how they arrived at those numbers. He was patient and clear. I got in my new car, with the price that I wanted to pay for it, and drove off. It was a VW miracle deal, and I should have come here first. There's a reason this place has such good reviews - they don't exhaust you, they're not mean to you, and they say "no problem". I love it.

In February 2026, I paid over $3,300 for engine diagnostics and repairs, but when I picked up my Jeep, the gas light was still on and coolant was missing. I was told it would be made right, yet when I returned, staff were unaware of my situation and only partially addressed the issue. While I was discussing the problem with another customer, a staff member spoke to me in an unprofessional way and told me to leave the floor. Within a mile of leaving, my engine warning lights came back on. A manager later stepped in and arranged another inspection, but now the check engine light has returned again. My concern is the quality and reliability of the repairs, as well as how the situation was handled. I simply want my vehicle repaired correctly and to be treated with professionalism. I hope Hendrick Automotive Group reviews this situation and helps reach a proper resolution.
