You choose the time you want to deliver the car, pay online and leave it there until the job is done. They will call you and report if work needs to be done to pass the MOT , how much it costs and when to collect. The staff is really friendly and understanding if you are late. I missed the first appointment and they offered to rebook. The location is a bit outside of town, but there are plenty of buses and the tram close by - into town and to South Gyles shopping centre, if u feel like shopping during your waiting hours. In the past I have hated going to garages as being a woman I felt I was being told a lot of crap because I knew nothing about cars. This time I was surprised and I had a female who dealt with the tire. Today I thought I had a slow puncture so I went to them again. I was dealt with by John the manager whom was very friendly and professional. He got someone to deal with it and he showed was the problem was and it wasn't a puncture so they fixed it. I can honestly say as a woman I feel happy going there because I was treated with respect. Maybe it's a generation thing as the staff are a different generation and some of the older generation in the past can and have been sexist not to mention condescending! Guess I will continue to deal with them as and when.

Gordon, the owner, is lovely, and always does a good job of MOTing and providing pragmatic advice on fixes/repairs required to our two-wheeled friends, and has dispensed tender care to my bikes and scooter alike. It is primarily a scooter shop, so if you are interested in purchasing a Vespa or Piaggio, it's worth having a wander along to check out his offerings. And if you have a bike already, there isn't really a better place to go in the area.
