A quick phone call books my car in usually within 2 days, I get a call if any major work needs done and then another call when it's ready to pick up. They euxplained what needs fixed, how much it would cost and how long it would take clearly and so that I understood everything. The only minor thing that was a bit annoying the first time, is that if it's something minor like a tire needing replacing then they'll just do it and not call you but once you know it's fine.

I chose Meadowfield due to the offer of bonus Tesco points , however now that I have had experience of service from this family run business, I would most certainly not hesitate to use them in the future. The initial online booking was a very smooth, informative process with clear instructions and advice given. I was given a time to take my vehicle into the garage, and on doing so I was immediately attended to by a polite, courteous mechanic and was offered either to wait for the tyres to be replaced or to come back within a short time. I chose the first and sat in their bright, little cabin while the job was carried out. Every now and again someone popped in, always with a friendly smile. After about 40 mins, another friendly face came in to tell me the job was finished and I was ready to go - not only new tyres fitted but also 'perfectly balanced' after I may have 'set them off a bit' , probably hit a kerb or something!! Excellent customer service, time slot quoted was actual time of appointment-fantastic, 5 star plus in all areas. Thank you Meadowfield, one very satisfied customer here. Mrs Martin

Without prompting, the owner informed me that they no longer wanted me as a client, as my car wasn't posh enough for them. I hadn't asked for any special treatment or discount, paid the full amount--yet was dismissed purely based on their judgment of my car. I've rarely encountered such arrogance in a business. Appalling service, focused more on appearances than on substance. At this point, I'd question whether they're even worth the price they charge.

Dear Mr Pozzi, we are sorry you felt that we were dismissive of your vehicle. It was explained to you that in our professional opinion your vehicle was in a very dangerous state. And, I hope you understand that when you asked us to fit the parts you were looking to source from various parts of the world. We, said no. We only fit original or genuine parts for vehicles. If for example you were involved in an accident. We would be putting ourselves in a compromised situation, which we choose not to do. We did say, we thought it was in your and our best interests to perhaps find another garage. Please do not make false accusations over references to 'posh' cars. You know this is not the case, and this was not mentioned. But it is is a fact that we can choose which vehicles we work on. And I feel it is unfair of you to make this judgement as it came down to the very poor condition of your vehicle. Nothing else. We all wish you and your family the very best, Regards from us all at Witherspoon Motor Services
