Connected two light/ceiling fan fixtures and had to overcome connection problems caused by original installation more than ten years ago. If I could give 10 stars, I would! Bottom line, I highly recommend Streamline Electric. I felt like I was family with the attention I was provided by Elizabeth and with the quality of work by Mike and the team. They dealt with my unruly tenants (that I inherited) and worked with me through all of the roadblocks I experienced with FPL inspections. This was a newly acquired property that had numerous neglected electrical issues from the previous owner. Ms. Elizabeth (I'm sure she's a saint) kept me fully abreast and informed throughout the process. I cannot recall ever working with a company that provides this level of service. Stay away from this company. We were unfortunate to associate with the electrician from this company. He did improper grounding for a 50 A EV charging point. We complained receptacle not working and he came again. Gave 30+ min talk on how great his work is and that issues could anything but his work. Later another electrician fixed it in 10 min and provided written note of improper grounding being the reason. He mentioned we were lucky the EV charger detected the issue or else it could have been a hazard. We reached back to streamline electric HallandalE for refund and they won't pick phone or return to emails. They replied to our google review with a manipulated story. I hired this company to install a NEMA 14-50 outlet for EV charging. The electrician came and installed the outlet. But later it turned out he completely messed up the wiring and outlet was not supplying power to charge EV. More over, the installation was bad and was not up-to the code. He left without covering 50 Amp outlet exposing the live wires putting my family in danger. Later I had to step-out and buy the correct part and I had to fix it by myself. Mind that he left to shop for parts for almost 3 hours (and charged me for time) but didn't buy the necessary parts to complete the job. I am pretty sure he indeed took me for a ride there. On subsequent complaining and after posting review, the company called and agreed to send the electrician to fix it only if I remove the review. I agreed since I wanted the job completed for what I payed for. The electrician came a second time to fix the issue (power not drawing from the installed outlet). But he couldn't even figure out the problem and he left by blaming everything (including the outlet and adapter manufacturer saying their products are defective) but his work. He was more interested in arguing and shouting at my wife (only she was at home at that time) rather than troubleshooting and fixing the issue. Since he left without fixing it, I called another electrician. He came here and fixed it in 10 mins time. It turned out to be shoddy, lazy work (and even dangerous to my family ) from this incompetent electrician. He didn't do the grounding well and the wiring was not done properly (loose contact) in the outlet housing. I got this in writing from the electrician who fixed the outlet. On an unfortunate day, this would have led to major fire hazard. I tried to contact this company again to address this, by various means. But they didn't pick up my calls, replayed to my emails, etc. See..this is the kind of contractors customers need to be vary about in South Florida (giving honest contractors a bad name). Shady electrical contractor who doesn't even know to do the wiring properly. Solicit business from customers and charge above the market rate and then disappear with money. Doesn't even pick up the phone. If we somehow get hold of them and ask to fix the mess they created, they will argue and shout at the customer and create a scene. I am pretty sure all the 5 star reviews here are from the friends and family members. Stay clear, this company is not worth it. Even more its very dangerous to entrust this company with any serious electrical work. read more

So I looked on the internet for someone licenced and near by and with a high BBB rating. Called Streamline and got a call back right away from Elizabeth, their office manager. First off let me say that I am an extreme DIY'er from St Louis MO and I do believe it's the Show Me State. My dad was a GC/City Fire Fighter; both grandfathers were carpenter and electrician. I know how to build and build right. I've had 3 occasions to hire Streamline Electrical Services and all three times have been a pleasure to thank them and pay the bill without feeling taken advantage of. 1. I needed a 50amp service set up to power our RV while in storage. End result was as good and even better then if I did it myself. I see the craftwork everyday and just smile. It's real hard to find any services in SoFlo that demonstrate that level of quality. 2. After having a pool pump company put a new 2hp motor on our pool we began to have motors simply burn up "like real quick". After checking every single wire, lug, breaker, and screw. Taking the motor and pump back 3 times to have the motor replaced (each time with a better brand motor) I finally called Mike at Streamline and provided him the chronology of events and asked him to provide his Master Electricians License expertise to help me find out WTF was going on. Mike verified the panel and all of its workings were AOK, he did load testing on the motor, and then called a pool expert he know. They concluded that the pump was overloading the motor. I took apart the pump and sure enough the pool pump company switched (in error) my 2hp pump wheel with a 3hp wheel. This guy is the right guy to call if you need real electrician not a guy who simply knows how to twist wires together. And I now have an A.O. Smith Motor on my pool. 3. The last call we used Streamline for was to repair our showroom display wall. A ballast melted down and shorted out the whole wall. Streamline pinpointed the problem swapped out the ballast and Badda Boom everything came back on. Quick, Fair Priced and they didn't leave a single piece of debris for us to clean up. read more

LOOK NO FURTHER. Being from another part of the country and having no business contacts in South Florida can be very stressful when you find yourself in need of any contracted work. It's hard to know who to trust and that's why I'm writing to recommend the services of Streamline Electric. I own an apartment in Hollywood, it sits uninhabited most of the year except for winter. One morning I got up and my electricity was off. Not just a blown fuse or bad outlet, there was no electricity in my entire apartment. I knew the bill had been paid so I checked the meter and like all my neighbors, there was electricity available however it was getting interrupted somewhere along the 150' stretch between the meter room and my fuse box. I am at the mercy of the internet in these instances, and I was lucky to have happened upon Streamline. I chose them as they had excellent reviews and their office was fairly close to my apartment. When I called and spoke with Elizabeth in the office, I felt confident I was dealing with the right people. I explained my situation and the urgency of having everything shut off unexpectedly, and they had someone come out the very same day. The technician was very professional, he got to work testing every outlet and trying to find the root of the problem. Diagnostics ran into two days and when it became apparent that the situation was atypical and I began to worry about diagnostic fees reaching into the thousands, the owner of the company, Michael, came to personally inspect the job and assure me that this wasn't the norm and that he would absolutely work with me on the fee structure. And he held to that. The techs narrowed down the problem area to the space in the wall where the electric cables enter my apartment through the floor and into the box in the wall. I authorized them to cut a small hole in the drywall so they could then cut and remove the pipe wherein the problem lay. The problem, as it turns out, was that termites had eaten their way into the wall, and built a mound within a four foot section of the pipe that houses the main electrical feed. Termite mounds are like concrete and it was so densely packed that it actually shut off my electricity. Once it was diagnosed the repairs went quickly. Everyone on the job was incredibly polite, I felt safe leaving my apartment while they were there and it was as pleasant as this type of situation can be. So they ran all new lines underground and into my apartment, and suggested I upgrade to a breaker box from the old glass fuses. I agreed. Seems easy enough, right? Once the new box was installed, we encountered even more problems. First of all, the place was built and wired in 1960. So there's that. Years ago we had recessed lighting installed and we never had any idea there was a problem with the electricity, except in hindsight I realize the fan in the kitchen never worked... when the new breaker box was installed the electricity in my entire apartment went absolutely haywire. Lights were on extra bright, some lights were on extra dim and different lights would flicker when you'd turn on any given lightswitch. Some of them I couldn't turn off. And the fan in the kitchen suddenly worked again. Another atypical situation that really required expertise. So it was something like the ground wire had been used inappropriately but again, they had to diagnose some weird uncommon problems and they did it extremely well. Once identified, the problem was easily corrected and electricity was fully restored to my apartment. Overall, I can't praise this company enough. Michael is incredibly knowledgeable and incredibly pleasant to work with. He was more than willing to walk me through and explain every detail of the necessary work, and he was considerate enough to work with me on the diagnostic fees. I feel that I couldn't have made a better choice in service providers and that I will always return to Streamline Electric for any electrical-related issues. Don't call these people. Guy who came to install was taking personal calls on his headphone, asked to use bathroom during the first half hour during which they charge $125 and before he started working, didn't close the bathroom door by the way, very creepy. In my proposal, I was given an estimate for timed lighting. He went to Home Depot and bought back motion detector lighting. After waiting and watching, I told him I had an appointment, he said it would be another 30-40 minutes. After what I assume was a finished job, I waited for him to bring me the estimate. I watched as he was texting in his truck and went out to his truck to pay because I had to leave. He was obviously doing something personal because he didn't have any figures ready. Closed out what he was doing and grabbed a folder and then it was time to prepare the estimate. Ridiculous waste of time for a bill close to $500.00. read more

I had just closed on my first house. About 2 weeks later the home insurance provider send a letter they now need an electrical upgraded or they will conceal the policy. With a very short time frame I contacted Streamline electric based in Hallandale Beach. I made the call for help and they responded that same day in a matter of hours for a service quote. With the approval of the contract the very next day streamline electric staff started and completed in a very timely matter. All throughout each stage of the work provided I was notified in person or phone, the personnel was very friendly and knowable if I had any questions or concerns about the house wiring. I was notified what to expect before and after city inspections. Because of the outstanding service and the electric upgrading job well done right the first time I'm now clear of cancellation because of any electrical issues.
