Last week I got Dungeness Crab Benedict with truffle fries and caught some tennis in session. This week I got a tan by the big pure salt saline pool that's heated to 83 degrees year round and while lounging I sipped on Arnold Palmers (I'm taking a wee break from booze but their bar is great, too) and swallowed a tuna melt practically whole. There's a fitness center, a butt-load of tennis courts, an on-site bar & resto, huge jacuzzi, olympic size pool, and some incredible views as The Club is right on the Bay and looks over to Tiburon. My friend is a member and actually lives on this resort property (unreal) and I totally mooch off his guest spots to come get my swim on. I feel like every time I come I meet 1000 people and they all have really cool stories and backgrounds. Retired ER Dr, pizza place owner, French Chefs, lots of lawyers. lots of hot moms, lots of hot dads, some kids they brought with, and while there are a lot of seniors here, they're legit the fittest 60+ crowd I've ever seen. On Holidays they frequently have a live band and they'll grill burgers and dogs outside. It's really cool, very clean, and currently my happy place thanks to this sweet mini tan I was able to catch today.

My son was taking swimming lessons with Rebecca who is a wonderful teacher. Unfortunately there were many times we felt unwelcome do to the general managers rude comments. He was beyond rude and elitist. We felt unwelcome every single time we came to visit. I don't want to go into details, but it is sad how bad our experience was.

Even if you weren't coming here to exercise or play, it's a beautiful property to hike, bike, or walk your dog. As for the facility itself, they have some of the nicest tennis courts around. They are well maintained, there's always fresh water for players, and there's a nice shaded area for friends & spectators. I've enjoyed playing here numerous times over the year. Every year the club hosts the Tiburon Challenger which attracts some of the best players from around the world. It's really cool to be able to enjoy such world-class tennis in your own backyard. As I mentioned before, the club is extremely family-friendly. You always see kids swimming in the pool and playing ping-pong and other games on the grass. My only gripe with TPC is their bar/restaurant. The service always seems to be disjointed, and the prices always seem high for the food/drinks that you get. But it's a small gripe. Everything else is pretty stellar here.

That said, it's small in a cozy way, in a nice setting with friendly staff. We went there again last week and I find it to be as good as I'd remembered. It is only deep in the middle part (5'). But that's all I need to do my water exercise. The temp is good (80-84) and they provide noodles. I also hear they're renovating the pool deck in the near future. I would have given 4.5 stars, as there is no indoor shower...just outdoors in the open. They do have good changing rooms though. The character of this treasure of a hometown pool deserves the full 5 stars despite the lack of indoor showers.

This is an amazing team of swim coaches…read more Bella is a dedicated coach that my kids love. She instilled in them the love of swimming. She has a knack for the kids and gets them excited and motivated to swim. She loves what she is doing and her enthusiasm. My daughter was so afraid to swim. Bella was in the water with her. My daughter was on the swim team and swimming with the swim team the same year. Paul is also an incredible coach. He is also dedicated and invested in teaching his passion of swimming. My son tended to over analyze his swim. Paul knew how to get into his head and get him ready for the next event. These two coaches have different personalities and it works really well for everyone involved. They both feel that the swim team is a family. They treat everyone with respect. The clearly love what they do and it shows.

We keep getting emails from management…read moresaying to disregard the rumors, that they don't know when they will close...but sometime in the coming future. In the meantime, those of us who paid to join are left wondering how to plan for when they close down and tear it down to build an entirely new club. We are also seeing lots of deferred maintenance, since they know they are closing sometime in the future to build a new, entirely different club. So much uncertainty is bad for morale, both for members and staff.

Mark and Rod with Pristine pools came out to discuss the situation and after research we determined that our lining was 25 years old. Way past what is expected. Pristine measured the pool and gave us a quote. They walked us through the steps and costs including letting us know what might be extras. Since this was in December we thought we might be stuck with an ugly pool until the rains stopped in April. Pristine took advantage of the lack of rain in early January. Drained the pool, added a new lining and skimmer and had it ready within a week. And it looks great. No leaks and came in as budgeted. Highly recommend

After the Tubbs Fire wiped us out in 2017, the first order of business before rebuilding the house…read morewas to replace the above-ground pool that Rod at Pristine Pool and Spa had installed 28 years earlier in 1989. It's hard to believe the Doughboy pool he installed lasted us that long! But it did. Truly impressive. We were pretty satisfied customers. We looked up Pristine Pool in Forestville and were thrilled that Rod and his son Mark were still in business. We called and discussed the project, and Rod came over and took some measurements. In no time at all, Rod had a backhoe and crew over to clear the site of fire debris and prepare the area for a bigger, deeper, and way more funner pool than we had before. Four potable water truck deliveries later, the pool was finally filled, and my three dogs were again happy campers. Well, we were too. It took eight weeks from start to finish. Rod coordinated everything needed -- site excavation, surface preparation, pool wall and liner installation, pool filtration, startup, and chemicals. Everything worked out as expected. Our only delay was waiting three weeks for Doughboy to manufacture the 28x16' oval pool liner: a tricky one requiring a significant 7' deep end. But it was worth the wait. Our dogs and visiting company have enjoyed the pool since Pristing Pool installed it. And we have had absolutely no issues with anything at all. Interestingly, Pristine Pool and Spa do more than just install pools; they also repair them. Early one spring morning in 2022, a large mature Doe and her newborn Fawn decided to go swimming in the pool. The Doe managed to get herself out, but not before poking a few invisible holes somewhere in the liner, causing a slow leak in need of repair. We called Pristine Pool for advice, and Ron advised that his son, Mark, provided leak detection and repair services. How lucky was that? Mark arrived a few days later. It was April, and the pool water bore winter's comforting chill still. Nonetheless, Mark donned a wetsuit and some diving gear, jumped in, and within 15 minutes, managed to find a collection of virtually invisible holes in the floor and sides of the pool liner, which he patched and immediately stopped the pool from losing water further. Cost? Less than a fancy dinner for two up. We were stoked! The company and its owners, Rod and Mark, have proved and continue to remain trustworthy, skilled, and high-quality craftsmen who take pride in their work and that of their employees and care genuinely for their customers. Thank you for your many years of devotion to your craft and dedication to service. We were lucky to find Pristine Pools 34 years ago. And we were so fortunate to find you again in 2018, alive and still kicking business! Friends have asked us for referrals. You and Pristine Pool and Spa in Forestville are the only ones on our list. We have been enrolled in tennis lessons for our now- 7 & 5 year old sons for over a year on Sundays…read moreat City College. The seasonal 'flex-pass' allows you to get 6 sessions over 7 weekends - so you can go away for a weekend and not lose $. Registration online is easy; kids don't need their own rackets at first; communication is good throughout (Bill Higgins or his asst will reply within a reasonable time to an email), and the instructors are all nice and good with kids this age (seem good throughout though I can't really comment). CCSF isn't the fanciest of courts but it's not a bad place to watch for an hour or go play yourself or go for a jog while the kiddos are in camp, too. Bottom line - our kids love the game already and want to keep learning - so it's worth the $.
