We chose A1 since they did their own measurements, cutting and install. Betty was fabulous. She was able to give a rough estimate just from the pictures we provided and got the square footage so close to the actual laser measurements they came and did before the cutting of the stone. She also honored our quote when something changed on a minor scale. The communication was superb. She was always available via text or phone. The person that came out to do the final measurements was very nice and professional. The crew that came out to install our granite were very professional, cleaned up after themselves and didnt leave until they got our approval of the job being well done. Everyone cared about their job and enjoys their job and it shows. Their prices were very reasonable. We will use them in the future if needed and we have already been telling others about how wonderful A1 is so we are spreading the word. The counters even passed the egg test of not rolling!

Update. After…read moregetting nowhere with Leita on the phone, I filed complaints with entities concerning ethical business practices. One entity (The Better Business Bureau/BBB), mailed a letter to the business listing my complaint. Upon receipt of the letter Leita told me that I was wrong, that they were not holding my printer hostage for more money and that I can come get it anytime. She took it a step further to imply that I had not done enough to communicate my dissatisfaction with the situation stating that if I had called them (again?) to complain (again?) that they would have no problem letting me pick up my printer. Later that afternoon I picked up my printer, John and Leita were adversarial and neither took responsibility for what had transpired and neither apologized. I don't get why people would run their business like this - I was treated like I unconvinced them in some way.

Lovely store and great products. Everyone is very nice. My 3 stars are for their exchange policy…read more Be careful about what you purchase and make sure it really works for you. They do not take any returns and the exchange policy is very strict. I purchased a pair of jeans at 30% off during their one-day "small business Saturday sale". I tried them on in the store, and they seemed fine. But, later that day when I tried them on again at home using a different mirror, I realized that the cut of the jeans just didn't work for me. I brought them back with the receipt the very next day to exchange them for a different style of jeans, which happened to be a little cheaper by the way. They would not honor the 30% discount. So, to exchange the jeans for a slightly less expensive style of jeans, I had to pay $50. It just felt kinda shitty to me. I would have exchanged the jeans the same day if I had known that they were not going to honor the discount.

Once inside it was disappointing to say the least. The place is extra small with poor ventilation. It was a smoke stack. So we headed straight to the back so that we could sit outside and smoke our cigars. Last year, there were tables and chairs, plenty of areas to sit and smoke cigars and have drinks. They had someone to cook food in the rear as well. This year... it was abysmal. It was sad to be honest. They had one very small bench area that surrounding this huge box like structure in the middle. The bench seats were broken. No ashtrays, no service for food or drinks, no tables, no chairs, no nothing. Just a beat down dark parking lot. Never could get to the bar but everyone was complaining about how watered down and small the drinks were. After an hour of that foolishness, we left and cut our losses. While outside, we noticed people were still coming and they were still charging $30 at the door. For some they charged them and closed minutes after. The only way establishments like this will ever learn not to scam people like this is to NOT SET FOOT IN THEIR PLACE AGAIN. DON"T DO IT!

It's obvious to me that Nick has really spent a lot of time, money, and energy learning and honing his craft over decades and he does it exceptionally well. Aside from the fact that everything in his store is quality, (he actually says if he would not shoot it, he does not sell it- very rare) Nick really takes the time to get to know his customers and their needs. He has a rotating used gun selection, which changes frequently, so if you are in the market for a high-quality used firearm, this is a place that I would start. In addition- he stocks some of the best brands in the industry, along with their latest offerings, and is knowledgeable about every single item on his shelves. You can't say that for most gun stores. When you walk in you get a true customer service experience- not just someone who, at like a lot of stores, is condescending and rude. Nick will spend time with you, asks a lot of questions and really finds the right gun for ".you". Gunshine arms is a breath of fresh air in the South Florida gun market industry that consistently delivers a quality product at a reasonable price with customer service that is second to none. I have purchased both a new and used firearm here, along with accessories and ammo, as well as two knives (did I mention they have some great high quality affordable knives that are hard to find elsewhere?), and every purchase I left happy and satisfied. I always recommend this store, especially to new shooters as the owner, Nick, will take the time to fit you with the gun for your needs, ability level and budget. Can't say enough good about his shop. A++++
