Bought a tree from this tree farm. Service was ok, nothing out of the ordinary. The selection was nice and it's a pretty good size tree farm. ALSO they don't return the calls. We called se real times to check on the status of our tree and we didn't get a returned call. The reason I'm giving it a three star and not a five star, is bc when I walked into their sales office I walked right back out. I could not stand the smell in there. It caused me a headache and a mild migraine. Now I know it's a tree farm but please freshen up or open a window. The landscaping guys that installed the tree were friendly and professional. They diged the hole by hand and were so nice to use the plug to fill in a piece of grass area that was burned due to a previous project. They even complimented me on my garden space. I was a little surprised that they only did a small radius whole when the tree we bought back in November from another land scaping company was prepaired with a wide radius and they topped it up with thick mulch and the mulch they added from Underwood's was a lot thinner. That was another thing that made me wonder on the extra stars. Other than that they do carry a lot of trees and bushes.

The issue ended up being bad valves, and they completed the job professionally and in a timely manner. Their workers were here making sure the system worked for 5 hours and they were professional, approachable, and easy to talk to the entire time. They cleaned up what they dug up, and left me with a working system! If you have any irrigation questions I cant recommend Superior Irrigation more than I do.

I made a handful of calls to various irrigation vendors and received a return call from 2 of the 5 or 6 I called. One vendor was booked out until the middle of August (over 6 weeks). Howard's called back just after 2:30pm the same day I left a message and came out after finishing another job in the area. Repairs were done before 4:15pm and at a very reasonable price. The one person also took a look at a couple other items I hade questions about and provided clarity.

So I called Howard and they came out and fixed in 10 minutes. No re-wiring was ever need. They came out this week to replace my 3 sprinkler heads and make sure all cycles were going week. $107.

I've been using Top Flite Irrigation for over five years for various jobs (replacing sprinkler…read moreheads, winterization, etc.). They were always professional and reasonably priced. However, over the last year or so there seems to have been some changes to management and employees at the company. First, they absolutely are awful with communications. No one answers the phone so you have to leave a voice message. You then enter a black hole with them where they don't return your call within a day or two (happened in the Fall 24 and in the Summer 25 for me). My wife had to call back a few times and eventually left a message saying how unprofessional they are before she got a response. I got a random text from them about coming out that day and when that didn't work they ghosted me for a week (I texted them to ask if someone was coming out and got no response). Finally, I received a text from a "Michael F." a week later and got an appointment which understandably got moved because of the heat but then they screwed up the new appointment. Anyhow, most of that I can deal with even though any company should try harder to act like they want to serve customers but it was them charging nearly $500 for replacing a ball valve with one that includes a test port cock along with replacing a poppet assembly and one sprinkler head. I understand the company needs to make money but the markup on the parts along with labor (100 dollars per hour) is crazy. And they sent out two works to do the job so I got charged $200 for the service technician and that's not counting the initial $95.00 service fee. With all that said, I cannot recommend the company any longer. I wish them the best and I hope they make some changes.

When we first moved to saline around 2000, we needed some trees planted as our yard looked like a…read morebig field. We also had some low lying areas with big puddles. We bought 3 weeping willows and 3 river birch trees from Kevin with installation to be planted in the lowest laying part of the yard. The trees are all still thriving! The price was very reasonable and the trees were planted nice and straight and never moved despite many a 39 mph wind day. I think they must have staked them. Sadly, I had wanted one of the willows to be planted in the most watery part (a part which dries up in the late spring/early summer) because in early spring the lawn right there can't be mowed. I know weeping willows love water. The guys that came to plant the trees came when the ground was wet (it had just barely rained heavily the days right before) and said they couldn't plant a willow there. I asked if they could come back when it was dry and plant it, and they said no, but they could put one willow on each side of the water, so that is what we did. For over 15 years, the spot between the two willows has standing water and can't be mowed until mid-May. It's a small thing I know, but I really wish I had just said, leave a willow then and had someone else come and plant it a couple of weeks later. Still, the trees are doing wonderfully and are huge now! The same cannot be said of another nursery who planted cherry trees for us, all of which died 13 - 14 months after planting (past the one year warranty). Another nursery has planted blue spruces and crab apples all of which we had to adjust because they were all planted slanting to one side. Kevin's and Saline Landscaoe Contractors have both planted trees perfectly and they remained in perfect health. That's 2 out of 4 local companies. If you need lawn mowing, they said they are booked up for spring of 2018. I guess I would call them in the fall of the prior year to which you would need the mowing. Or maybe a year in advance? No one gave me an indication of when to call for future mowing contacts. Maybe they are constantly full unless someone moves away?
