He installed two stairways of huge stone slabs. The cascading locally- mined slabs convey an artistry and aesthetic consideration that is greatly appreciated. The multi-tiered retaining walls have broad natural curves and were built with care. It was a big job. I suspect it took a little longer than Chris expected. He finished up well. Chris and his skilled crew adapted to the changing scope of the project. The add-ons to accommodate the expanding complexity of the project, along with some much needed stump removals on the rest of the property, were done well and were fairly priced. Chris was attentive to our suggestions and needs. Definitely money well spent. He's a good man. He's got integrity and he's good with communication. He's respectful of his crew. They work well together. We will certainly hire him for projects in the future.

Communication is always relayed on the status of the project (which is hard to find these days!). We had Aaron's put in a retaining wall and they were extremely thorough and detail oriented. They were done with the project in under a week and did a great job with cleaning up the yard and seeding afterwards. We will be using them again and recommend to anyone looking for a landscape project! They also had the best price.

I want to tell you how impressed we are with the walkway and the professionalism of Heime, Jimmy and Luiz (I bet I butchered the spelling). They are true craftsmen and exceptional ambassadors for Aarons. Their attention to detail and professional suggestions were appreciated. They take pride in their work and it shows in the final product, a rare quality in today's work force. Please extend our appreciation to them. I also want to thank you for your attention to our project and suggestions. The walnut blend is really showing off its beauty in the sun. It is catalogue worthy. The walkway has greatly enhanced the curb appeal of our home. All-in-all a great team effort. Don't hesitate to use us as a reference.

My wife and I went into Dexter Cabinet & Countertop on a Saturday afternoon to get an estimate for…read morecabinets and counters for our new kitchen. It seemed like a nice place with some good options for cabinets and counters. Del was the only one there and helped answer a few questions for us, informing us that he was the "counter guy" and that Tim was not in that day to do our cabinet estimate. That was fine, Del took our information and kitchen details to leave for Tim to contact us with a cabinet estimate. Del seemed knowledgeable about counters and that he'd do a good job with our counter estimate once Tim could get our cabinets done. 5 days later after calling once and emailing Tim, we hadn't heard anything back. We just bought the house and the 3-4 week lead time for ordering cabinets is part of the critical path of our remodel. It has been over 2 weeks now and we haven't been contacted once. We clearly were either not a priority for them or they lost/ignored our request for an estimate. They get two stars because they seem like their product is good and other reviewers have claimed that they do good work. We wouldn't know since they wouldn't even get to the point of giving us an estimate for our business. Make sure to call ahead to ensure that Tim or Del is in before driving over there, don't rely on them to contact you.

The price seemed to not be out of line with the big box stores but the process at those stores was pretty convoluted while Dexter Cabinet put it into one nice package (although we decided to purchase a different faucet than the several good ones they offered in their package). After a couple go-rounds at Lowe's, we threw up our hands and went with the more "comfortable" (and LOCAL) Dexter Cabinet option. Glad we did. I would however recommend that potential customers take some responsibility for keeping the communication going. Contact them if you don't hear back when you expect to. That worked really well for us. This seems to be the way to work with most contractors, we've found.
