Tried to go into home repair and fix some of my siding and some facia. 9/27/19 - Sent a picture of what the facia looks like. 9/30/19 - Too windy going to come back tomorrow 10/3/19 - offered to wait as the weather was not favorable to climb a ladder. 10/10/19 - Call him to check in. Told i was "At the top of his list" 10/22/19 - Hadn't heard from them and checked in again. He needed to borrow a "breaker bar" to bend the metal. 11/5/19 - Had another company come to fix as they are a roofing company. 11/8/19 - Other company came and didn't complete the job. Heard arguing among the crew from inside my house. Then they just left. Called Stratton and was told they were going to redo it. 3/14/20 - Nothing has been done and never got a response from Stratton. The siding they orginially put on has partially blown off too. read more

Do NOT trust this company to be honest or to do right by you. The owner, James, and his employees do not take any level of responsibility or accountability for their actions when they destroy parts of your home. The owner is an avoidant, irresponsible, negligent snake who becomes defensive when you confront him about not fulfilling what was originally agreed upon. James will attempt to smooth your concerns over by future-faking you; meaning he will smooth things over in the moment by telling you he will do XYZ by a vague time and date, then you'll never hear from him again until you persist further. When that doesn't work and he can't ignore you any longer, he will try to emotionally manipulate you with a long list of reasons and excuses of why he couldn't follow through when he said he would . He has no intention of fixing his mistakes. Also, the employees perform half-assed work and I don't blame them because they are being lead by a man who has no professional integrity. If you choose to work with Stratton Painting, you will be grossly disappointed and full of regret. You will surely find yourself in a position where they have not fulfilled their promises and you will never hear from them again. Your best option is to hire someone from outside of Warrensburg. Do not get caught up in the drama of this company and save yourself time and money. read more
