Service was a 10/10 and definitely worth going for if only to support the terrific staff. The decor of this course is fantastic--changing colored lights, pirate and ocean-themed obstacles, and decorative wall art make this blacklight golf very aesthetically pleasing. On top of that, the staff keeps things well-maintained and very clean. And the extra glow stickers on the putters were a fun touch I haven't ever seen at a blacklight mini golf course before. The course itself was decent--a lot of the hole designs felt very similar, but I understand that indoor courses are constrained to limited space, so you're trying to squish things together, and a lack of elevation and outdoor elements. I'd give the course 5/5 stars for decorations and 3/5 stars for course layout.

Lots of blacklight oversize pirate-ghost-zombie pics on the walls was cool. But the course layout was almost uniformly 2D, just flat strips of land with little bumpers in them. Like, you know in other mini golf when you hit the ball through a tunnel, past a spinning windmill, into a secret passage, etc., etc...? Yeah, they don't have that. The holes don't have any real special challenges. Like the same hole 18 times in a row, with cool decorations.

Escape Factory was my first experience with an escape room but this place made me want it to be my…read morelast... Escape Factory is connected to Time-Out Americana Grill so be sure to walk through the restaurant and check-in with the hostess there. We had a group of 15 and some of us had done escape rooms before - those with escape room experience said that Escape Factory was easily the worst escape room they had ever done. The staff was nice enough but the design and execution of the "Inside Job" room we did was poor. They didn't do a good job of getting us into the story - they printed out a sheet of paper with a long, detailed story for us to read...and so begins us losing interest. The room was small and cramped with all 15 of us in there. All of the items we had to rummage through to find clues were old and dirty so bring your hand sanitizer. They gave us 60 minutes to complete the mission and get out of the room but the whole thing was so disorganized that we were all doing different things at once instead of going in order. A true escape room should have you clearly go from clue to clue in a specific order but we did not know where to start and found random clues that led us to no where. We were no where close to finishing the mission or escaping the room. After the first 15 minutes, we were counting down the minutes until time was over so we could leave and go out to dinner instead of spending more time in that dinky ol' room. Escape Factory was a waste of time and money. $25 per person? NOT WORTH.

Great variety of puzzles with a fun theme. Perfect for teams of 3-4. Puzzles were medium level difficulty. We also did Watson's Revenge which was full of clever puzzles, fun reveals and unique locks. Definitely have experienced players on your team as this one is pretty challenging. 4+ teammates is good for this one. Lastly, we did 13th Floor which was luckily not a scary room, just a slightly creepy theme. Really enjoyed the puzzles and riddles in this one as well as the interactive elements. 3-5 is good for this one. Puzzles are medium to hard difficulty. Rave reviews for the fun game master. The inventory/closeup system for the virtual/remote rooms were a bit tricky to juggle but allowed us to divide and conquer.

We came to do one, but the experience was pretty heavy for the group, and the great staff there let us change to a room that was better suited to our group, right on the fly! We ended up doing "King Arthur's Quest" and Sean, our gamemaster, did a great job at keeping us moving! A lot of fun and keep us occupied for an hour! We will definitely come back for other challenges! If you are thinking about coming, a word from the now-wise: pay heed to the challenge rating (PG, PG-13, etc.). And don't be afraid to ask questions about the challenge when you have your pre-meeting. If you are afraid of the dark - ASK! your gamemaster if the room is going to be dark. If you have to switch escape rooms based on your comfort factor, do it, you'll be glad you did. Thanks again Sean!
