    Ok good

Food was a small notch above airplane food. But not much better. Garlic bread and blue cheese were ok everything else was off in different ways. No wait to get in, and staff cleaned things pretty quickly.

Strata is fabulous lounge at the Auckland airport. It's quiet, clean, has WiFi, and offers a variety of foods and beverages. It's located on the second floor alongside other lounges, so it's easy to find. Check-in was quick. There was plenty of seating throughout, with tables and chairs in a thoughtful arrangement. I liked that the seats aren't bunched in together and you don't have to be packed face to face. Food was placed in the center island. The hot food options the day I visited were decent. I mean, it's not gourmet necessarily but better than airport retail, I think. There were plenty of vegetables and snacks as well. Cookies, crackers, other stuff I can't remember. Sodas, juices, alcohol. Staff was constantly cleaning and picking up stuff. The showers were a nice touch if you are transiting after a long flight. They were fancy like in high end hotels.

My wife and I were on vacation in Auckland and through American Express, we had access to the Strata Lounge. There was a nice buffet with possibly the best bread ever with these seeds on top with the inside, super chewy and just the right crust. They had a beer fridge with about 4 options, plus a cider. I liked it, I got a lot of meats and cheeses for a great lunch and there was a cricket game playing on the TV. The service was great, I would have liked to have some not crazy rich breakfast/lunch items. Maybe some grilled chicken strips for fajitas or some scrambled eggs? Nice airport lounge.

One of the nicest airport lounges I've been to! I had access through my Priority Pass, but you can also walk-in at cash rates. They had a ton of food and drink options! This included hot foods, sandwiches, salads, scones/breads, cheese and meats, dessert, and even candy. And don't forget the self-serve beer, wine, and liquor in the back! Have a food allergy? Let them know, and they'll send the cook out to show you what you can eat on the buffet! Wished we could've stayed longer! Highly recommended if you're flying out of the International Terminal!

Honestly, this is the best airport lounge I've ever been to - and I have been to a ton of the in the US. Many Indian dishes including an incredible beef or goat curry and a spiced, garbanzo bean and carrot salad. Wine is self serve which is the first time I've ever experienced such a thing. They carried local New Zealand wines. I have Coeliac diaease and the staff helped me pick out things that were safe for me to eat. Each bathroom has its own shower stall and they are very spacious. Overall, this is a comfortable lounge with delicious food. It is a must visit if travelling through Auckland. Visited February 2023.

My husband had access to this airport lounge through our priority pass. Our priority pass is through our American express credit card. Lounges usually allow one gues but this lounge allow 2 guests access. The front desk attendant was helpful and reminded us about our boarding time. She also mentioned that there is a 3 hour limit at staying at the lounge. We are only expecting to stay for about 2 hours. We arrived here at around 11am. Staff members are just starting to prepare and set up for lunch. I love this lounge because it serves hot food. They had gluten free chicken, some soup, white rice, cous cous, salads and deserts. The place was quiet and clean. It wasn't crowded at all. However, I do not see that they have a lot of outlets for charging. They have an open bar. You can serve yourself for wine, sodas or mixed drinks.

Great lounge with easy access after security and the duty free shops. Large space with plenty of seats with chargers near the wall. Great food and beverage selection.

In the international terminal & My Priority Pass gave me access. It was large, clean and for an airport luxurious. They were cappuccinos, beers, wines, too shelf liquors, sandwiches, breads, cheeses, puddinngshot and cold foods. Wi-Fi was great and there were charging stations.

The front desk was inhospitable, cold and bureaucratic. But once you get past that you find really excellent food and drinks, clean bathrooms and showers. It was roomy and I crowded and a nice respite for the wait although I left early because there were some incredible high end duty free shops! Go figure.

Strata Lounge not noisy not busy but a fine place to chill

Excellent place to drop in and chill - I was thankful that the Koru Longe was busy! Food was great, service friendly and the coffee machines worked perfectly. Who needs a barista? Wifi was also fast although there was not much competition for bandwidth. And I had my choice of seats...happy to return here next time.

This is probably the best lounge I have been to during my travels. I really loved how spacious and beautiful this lounge is. I thought the food isn't bad. I tried their cold bar with hummus, cheese and hot bar which had this yummy truffle mushroom gnocchi. It was really relaxing here. The bathroom was just amazing with a built-in shower. Get a towel from the front desk.

Best breakfast spread I've seen in any lounge. Very spacious and plenty of variety in the good which I think is so thoughtful!

My husband and I had a 4-hour layover at the Auckland International Airport before returning home...so what greater way to spend that time in the Strata Lounge! Upon reaching the entrance, I was impressed with how pretty the lobby looked. The clear glass sliding doors were nice and clean, and the feels had an enchanted vibe around the windows and walls. The lounge was super spacious! After checking in, you came upon a window looking into the kitchen, they had counters filled with lots of food options, another counter with soft drinks and coffee, a counter filled with hard liquor, beers, wine and bar snacks, and lots of space for the seating area. They also had a section for the kiddies that had toys and a tv. And you can't forget about the free wifi the lounge provides! The staff here was friendly. I loved the food options they had. They had a range of hearty food, pastries, cheese and crackers, salads, sandwiches and dessert. The staff was great to also keep the food replenished at all times. And their bar had top-notch selections. I liked that they had a lot of New Zealand wine and beers to choose from. It gave us a last-minute chance to enjoy the countries drinks before departing back to our country *tear* Regardless if you have a Priority Pass or paid to enter, it's worth every penny!

The baggage claim was so easy to find. The immigration is very strict with what you bring. Before exit there is a security dog that will check your belongings for any animal, plants, meat products inside. Never in my life have I reviewed an airport but there is a first time for everything!! For context;…read moreI travel frequently internationally and this is hands doubt the most disorganized airport I have ever experienced, for reasons I will go into detail below. TLDR; you NEED a THREE - FOUR HOUR layover here if you are arriving internationally to be able to safely make your transfer domestically within NZ or to another international destination!!!! Arrival: Came direct from LAX and our flight arrived an hour early! Unfortunately; our jet bridge couldn't connect to the plane so we had to sit in the plane for 45 mins until they decided to tow the plane to another part of the airport; add in a ramp for us to step off the plane, and then take a bus to the international terminal to go through customs/immigration. Customs/Immigration: You need the NZETA visa prior to arrival (if you're coming from the US). We had this and had applied for this months in advance. I've done this for other nations and though it would be as seamless as before. We had 2.5 hrs before our domestic flight which I thought would be enough time, this was so wrong. We of course had to go through the standard facial scan + passport scan international checkin, but then we had to go through FOUR separate immigration lines even though we repeatedly confirmed (including on NZETA) that we had nothing to declare. The lines were filled with people declaring nothing and we were stuck here for 2 hrs. I understand needing to confirm people didn't bring anything they shouldn't, but why not just use the scent tracking dogs they used once instead of having everyone go through the four separate checks and repeat that they aren't declaring anything?? Airport itself: The international terminal is approx 0.5 miles away from the domestic terminal and while yes there is a free bus that comes every 15 minutes,,, please see the above which left us frantically ordering an uber to get us there asap as our flight had begun boarding while we were still in this massive immigration line for 2 straight hours. We were the last people to be able to get onto our flight and we were covered in sweat and panic as we were barely able to make this transfer. Rental Car Situation: There are 2 terminals for rental car pickup, domestic and international. If you book online; please reach out to them to see which counter YOU should go to because twice we had to change which pickup we need to head to as a result. We also did not get the car we requested and the employees were unhelpful with directions.

The signage was clear, and getting through security took less than five minutes. In the US, we're used to arriving at least two hours early for domestic flights, but in New Zealand we were told to be there one hour beforehand and even that felt generous given how quick everything was.
