At Oz Clothing Alterations, i like the convenience of buying my garment and getting it altered on the same day. In saying that, they are sometimes quite busy and cannot promise to return alterations the same day, even if it's just a hem line.. They did a neat job and overall I am quite satisfied. Nothing much to say except I'm still on the lookout for another place. Alterations can be quite boring (much like this review) but it's definitely nice when clothes fit. My tip, don't delay after your purchase to get your clothes altered. You can continue shopping after you've dropped the clothes off. This way, it's ready by the time you're willing to leave.

I often find something that matches a theme I might have going. A special plate that might co ordinate with plates I am having for a dinner party or a vase for certain flowers that are in season. I have picked up cooking utensils and fitted out a kitchen for students in the past. I have bought complete 500 piece jigsaws for $2. A few times there have been designer shirts that have been for sale for less than $10. This is a little place that has a fast turn over and all the elderly ladies are volunteers doing a fabulous job. I often just go in and chat to the ladies. All the proceeds go to a wonderful charity.

Phil has a wealth of knowledge and experience and is happy to offer his advice. The prices for parts here are as good and often better as they are anywhere else, but the bonus is you're buying parts from someone with hands-on experiance rather than an adolescent counter jockey.

It is in a complex with four other businesses, none which state exclusive parking. When I went to move my car to appease him and stated I thought it was a public parking area, he came up to my window and bellowed at me again. I was shaking when I went into the Doctor's surgery. I was welcomed into the store with an abrupt 'when is your marriage date' by the owner (an older gentlemen...or should I say someone that lacks the qualities of a gentlemen). After we did a quick browse of the store, I came across 3 outfits that I really liked. When I asked that I'd like to try them on, I was told I can't and I should quote 'hold then up to my body'. Me and my friend looked at one another dumbstruck by this remark. We actually thought it was a joke at first. He continued to say that because I had told him I had come to the store to browse, he was telling me I could hold the outfits " up against my body" as opposed to trying them on like normal people would suggest to do. We explained to him that in order to get a sense of what an outfit looks like on someone, they would need to try it on. He then proceeded to say 'well you're not buying it, so why do you need to try it on'. Well sir, normally before someone makes a purchase, they tend to try on the item. That's usually how it works. But clearly, I've missed something here. I was then told that I shouldn't bother with the style I picked as it'll be out "of fashion next year". Hmmm, I wondered at this point who the customer was. Was he trying to convince me NOT to buy this item? At this point,I looked at my friend and said let's go. They just lost a customer. I likely would've come out of this with something in hand but not at the expense of the service I was offered. I refuse to put my money into a businesss that doesn't know the meaning of customer service. Never have I experienced such awful service. Truly disappointed. This called for a review and let's just say this is only the 2nd time I've been disspointed enough to write one! Visit this store at your own discretion.

I feel Big W has a nicer clothing selection if you are looking for everyday pieces. They have the Peter Morrissey range which is great for ladies work/office attire and only have recently launched Lee Cooper a casual brand for ladies, mens and kids - great new addition!

If you need assistance to get around there is the courtesy go mobiles...thought about putting mother in one as she was taking too long to shop. Honesty they are great for anyone who can't walk too far. This shopping centre is spread out and to get from one floor to the other is a walk. The lifts are very slow and a wait. There are many restaurants on the outside of the centre and are open quite late. This shopping centre has it all, restaurants, cafes, good shops, supermarkets and movie theatres. Parking can be an issue....my suggestion is drive to the top and make your way down.
