I recently enrolled at Conejo Valley adult education for a certificate program for office manager in order to get back up to speed in order to support myself after my divorce is final. It is a scary time... but fortunately for me, Chris Wilson has been my teacher for the first two classes in my certificate program. He is so thorough and makes sure every student knows what they are doing. I suddenly feel empowered. Because I am not just going through the motions. I am re-learning what I knew so long ago after many years. The class projects that he gives us proves to me that I actually know what he's teaching. I did not think I would be able to get back what I have lost. It is apparent that Mr. Wilson loves his job and he truly is rooting for his students and is willing to help them however he can. I recently had an early meeting with my attorney during class hours which I could not change. So I ended up being over an hour late for class. He was so accommodating and came to me during class break and caught me up on everything that the rest of the class had gone over that morning. Mr. Wilson has been my instructor for the first two classes for my certificate program. I can only hope that as I move forward, any other instructor that I encounter at the Conejo Valley adult school will be as knowledgeable, enthusiastic and patient as he has been with the entire class.

I've had experiences with this tutoring center since its inception nearly eight years ago, and…read morecompletely believe in its program. For those of you looking for a place that will help your kids out with school, this is one of the best and most unique places out there. Unlike Kumon and Sylvan, Homework Bound focuses on the homework the children bring home rather than bombarding them with additional work and exercises. The teachers help the students understand their homework first and reach the root of the problem that way. Thus, those who need some extra focus can get that and those who need additional guidance can receive that as well. The program focuses on organization and time-keeping skills that will help the children with their homework and can also be applied elsewhere even after they leave the center. The teachers are great, caring, funny, and also focusead. They are chosen very carefully and put a lot of heart into what they are doing. Mr. Vesagas, the director, is also a very caring man who devotes so much of his time to his program and the children. He is extremely passionate about helping each child individually and always makes sure that they stay on track in terms of finishing their work. I definitely recommend this place if you are looking for some extra tutoring for your child. While this isn't a "day-care," it is a great alternative to it. Bring your child home in the evening with their homework finished and enjoy some very much needed family time. :)

I decided to sign my daughter up with Jason because I liked Jason, but after getting involved with the NCP I realized that the Value for the money was not there. You have to pay anywhere from $3700-$5000 a year just so they can fill out your child's Fafsa and send out a couple letters. You can do that yourself! I had agreed to pay payments of $250-$275 a month and they started taking 2-3 payments all at once! I had to finally file a stop payment with my bank, but because I had signed the paperwork agreeing to have them take automatic withdrawals as one of their customers, they were able to rebuttal by saying I was behind on my payments, and they won the claim. I was NEVER behind on my payments! The funds were always in the bank but they wouldn't take their payment each month. For some reason they would forget and then take $800-$900 at a time. This became huge Problem !!! I will never recommend this company to any hard working parents with students, or anyone for that matter! The Value for your money is definitely NOT there! Its just another company out there taking advantage of families with Children. I wish I would have read some these Yelp reviews before signing up with National college Planners.
