Georgian Colonial home to a transitional design half that size. We were relocating from Bethesda, MD to the Willowsford Farm community in Loudoun County, VA and knew not a single interior designer to help us with the transition. Our realtor suggested Morgan and we engaged her based on her impressive design renderings and whole job fixed fee billing structure. It was clear that we would not be able to incorporate all our traditional furniture into the home style we purchased, but we were going to try to blend our favorite pieces. Morgan took pictures of all our Bethesda rooms and subsequently presented us with a visually creative master plan blending our traditional pieces with new transitional ones that we have gradually implemented over this past year. I have loved working with Morgan! She has that rare blend of being both creative and analytical. She created meticulous spreadsheets documenting our selections so we always knew where we stood financially. She is wonderfully creative with fabrics, resourceful in suggesting ways to save money, and has provided us with exceptional customer service.

Morgan offered beautiful renderings using pieces I would not have been able to find myself or put together the way she did. They were within my budget and reflect my taste exactly. I highly recommend her for modern (yet cozy) and eclectic contemporary designs. Those styles are what I like but I know Morgan offers more than those style schools. Thank you Morgan for everything!

They seem to specialize in unique items that make great gifts--prices are reasonable, but these aren't the kinds of baby things I would buy for myself (assuming I had a baby!). Dana, the owner, offered to set up an appointment after-hours to accommodate my schedule, which I thought was extremely good customer service. In the end I was able to make it in during regular store hours, and since I had already checked out their website I had a good idea of what I wanted to get. Everything I had seen online was easy to find in the store, and had a display model that I could check out- bonus! Dana helped me finalize my choices, and even offered to ship the gifts complimentary to my friend--huge bonus, especially since I was running delinquently late at this point! They packaged everything in a cute box with a little rubber duckie on top, and I know my friend is going to love all of it. I will definitely go to Daisy Baby for all my future baby shower needs.

I spent hours and hours looking over the internet trying to find my perfect bedding for my baby boy. After all I know in a couple short years it will be tonka trucks and star wars so this was my time to have his room just how I had always wanted it. I stopped into this store back in November right after I found out that we were having a boy due in May. Without an appointment on a Saturday Dana sat with my husband and I for over an hour looking at fabrics. We put together a lot of options. Sure we started out of our price range and Dana continued to work with us to get it what we wanted with what we wanted to spend. We took two weeks to decide and ultimately ended up ordering our bedding and furniture from Daisy Baby in December. It was a long process getting our order (holidays and manufacture delays). During this time that we had set backs of delivery dates Dana continued to communicate with us and even went above and beyond to get us different furniture at a cost to her. I have spoken with many designers who tell me that it is so common when custom ordering to have delays and most shops will do nothing to help you but maybe offer you the ability to cancel your order..maybe. Our order was delivered in March and I was blown away by how gorgeous it all was. Dana and Daisy Baby were the poster child for customer service!!! I know there is not a lot of stock on the floor to see but you are custom ordering not picking up from the box stores. I can not begin to count the amount of compliments I have gotten now that my sons room is done and together. Everyone wants to know where we got his bedding and I love that we designed it and no one else has that combination. I sit in the glider I had made and stare at his room and can not wait till he gets here in a couple days to really enjoy what we created I will certainly come back should we need you again!

Our busy family of 5 is now loving the improved flow, additional storage, increased functionality, and gorgeous aesthetic of our new space. We really cook and our new space allows our 3 teenagers to peacefully coexist there while doing their homework or just enjoying some family time while we cook. Our girls especially love the banquet sitting created by Megan and Nadia. I've even caught the Varsity soccer team nestled comfortably around the table, catching a snack and some down time before the game. It truly is a warm and inviting space for all. After admiring Megan and Nadia's work on Houzz, I was overjoyed to know they were local to the Baltimore/DC area. Megan and Nadia were incredibly patient with us throughout the process and they respected our budget. We appreciated the options we were given to ensure we could stay within our budget while still achieving the desired final result. They brilliantly balanced listening and incorporating our goals and ideas with their own based on their experience and expertise. On the surface, it may seem that hiring painters is an easy decision. In truth, there are a wide…read morerange of options out there and most consumers will gravitate towards the cheapest options from places like angieslist where there are plenty of businesses offering services to paint a room for a "bargain price". The real question you have to ask is.....how detailed oriented are you and how crisp does the paint job have to be? The cheaper options emphasize speed over quality. You will run into many issues such as paint bleed on the edges, lousy/spotty coating (b/c some painters will only coat once), and poor covering of your carpet and furniture prior to the paint job. For the current paint job, I wasn't willing to sacrifice quality. I was incredibly annoyed at the paint job in my master bedroom (looked like a monkey or an elephant painted the walls) and I absolutely wanted quality work done. The first time Luis, the owner, came to do a price estimate, he wore shoe slip covers so that his shoes would not make my floor dirty As the saying goes, the small things that you notice tell you everything you need to know about an individual. In cases such as painters where you are evaluating how meticulous they are, it is even more important. Needless to say, Luis's employee did a phenomenal paint job and I was incredibly impressed by his workmanship. While I bought top grade paint from Sherwin Williams that did not require separate priming, Luis's employee did a separate priming of the walls followed by 2 coats. The walls looked beautiful and it was superb quality work. I checked all edges, walls, and everything was crisp. While you may not be getting the cheapest deal with Luis, the small premium that you pay over low cost painters more makes up for the peace of mind, professionalism, and quality of work that his business provides. If you decide to hire someone for your painting needs, I strongly suggest you reach out to Luis and FDC painting!
