They require you to leave pallets on the floor (which they provide) so there is air flow and your things aren't on the ground. But, I just cleaned out my unit, after a huge week-long rain and wind storm, and it was completely dry in the unit. Staff was easy to work with, gate worked perfectly. They even have a barrel with lovely-smelling roses by the key pad to leave the facility. Nice little touches like that make a big difference. They're only closed a few days of the year, otherwise access is 7am to 7pm, if I recall correctly. Office hours are a little different, but they do have someone in the office 7 days a week - except for those few days they're closed for holidays. They let me pay my monthly fee over the phone with a debit/credit card, too, which was really convenient for me. They gave me a check for my deposit the same day I moved out, and they didn't require notice to move out. They're just really easy to work with. I never encountered any sketchy types and always felt perfectly safe. I'd use them again if I ever needed to, without shopping around, and even if they cost a little more. Happy customer here.

So this place is a fucking joke and if you read the fine print they make sure that they hold zero…read moreliability for any of your property for any reason whatsoever, I was recently in a horrific car accident I went head on with a redwood tree going 50 and rolled my suv 3 times resulting in a head injury and suver whiplash and los of memory it wasnt like I lost memory's I've just been having problems remembering appointments and tasks that are really important and also had a CT scan to make sure that I didnt have any internal bleeding or injuries where they found cancer in my lungs so I ended up being late on paying my storage fee, I explained my situation to them once I was able to actually get ahold of someone and it didnt matter to them one bit in fact they charged me 100 dollars more than I actually owed, cut off my brand new 50 dollar lock and when I was finally sent the code for the cheep ass lock that they replaced it with and I was once again able to get back into my storage I found a puddle in the middle of the unit and a thick layer of mold all over my belongings, and im talking about some very expensive and sentimental things that I can't ever replace oh and my unit is on the bottom floor of a 2 story unit, I found water on things in the back corners of my unit oh and a sign stating that I was responsible for making sure my belongings are secured properly and that storwell was not responsible nor liable for any damaged or stolen property, yet I was told when I originally got my unit that it was state law to pay for renters insurance which is an extra 30 dollars yet does nothing at all I sent them pictures and complaints and there response was that I am responsible for my own property even though it was there facility that caused the damage to my things, and said that they wanted to move me to another unit that was blocked off from vehicle access knowing full well im injured from my accident and would have problems moving what wasnt destroyed to the other unit and told me that they would have the on site manager inspect the unit and I might be issued with future bill credits that one is not even garenteed nor will it replace what was destroyed and the on site manager told me himself that there where so many units that when they bought the facility that they didnt even inspect it they just made sure the contract spared them any responsibly whatsoever no matter what and told everyone they where climate controlled units and now instead of issuing me credits I just woke up to find my bank account over drawn on the first day of the new year and im about to go ape shit on storwell this place is pure bullshit and they dont care about you or you belongings you are just a paycheck to them and they could care less about you the safety of your keepsakes they charge me 70 dollars a month for a 5x10 unit in a shitty facility and act like I should be thankful that there building ruined the last two things my grandfather made before he passed away that I can never replace the whole unit was covered in a thick layer of mold and all of my belongings where soaked
