We had a water issue in our basement and honestly didn't know where to start. United Water…read moreRestoration Group of the Lower Hudson Valley was recommended to us, and they were excellent from the first call through completion. We called around 1am when a pipe burst, and the owner Latoya was able to come out ASAP to take a look and let us know what next steps were. Early the next morning they showed up, explained exactly what was going on as they did it, and walked us through the entire process without any pressure or confusion. They handled the water damage professionally, used the right equipment, and were very respectful of our home the whole time (big deal to us because it's our first house and the cost/pressure of water damage had us very stressed about causing more damage). What really stood out was the communication - constant updates, clear expectations, and no surprises. You can tell they know what they're doing and actually care about doing the job right. If you're dealing with water damage, mold, or anything restoration-related, I'd absolutely recommend giving them a call. Hopefully we never need them again - but if we do, they're the first ones we'd contact.
