Anyway, we served ourselves on the shop floor, although nobody approached us, we didnt actually need any help so it wasnt a problem to me. When we got to the till, the lady was really really nice and helpful. She offered us the 3 year insurance, which we took but she took the time to explain to us exactly what to do if things went wrong, giving examples of her using the insurance scheme. All in all it was a very good trip. However I have been there before to get PC's or Laptops and almost walked out in disgust at how long they make you wait. I often know exactly what i want before hand, but the staff try to change your mind and offer you other products and can be pushy about it. Its an average sized PC world with a Tech guys area, I have used them before and although they havent been able to sort it in store, they got it taken away and returned to us in working order in a week which I was pleased with.

A problem I had with this branch of Curry's was the limited amount of stock (especially on the iPod…read morefront, the reason I went in in the first place) that they had in, although it looked like several displays were being changed, so perhaps this was temporary. The staff, while enthusiastic and quick to ask if they can help weren't able to tell me when they would be restocking the product I was searching for. All in all, a very middle of the road shopping experience, although perhaps if I visited now, the stock levels might be better.

So much for Pc World wanting me to buy a new computer, total scammers.

What a waste of space this company is. I took my computer in to have a trogen removed.They advised…read morethey had checked it and done a "fault report" and there was no trace of malware. I didn't believe them as I am no idiot and knew there was something seriously wrong with the computer. I asked for this in writing for which they charged me £25 on picking up the computer and getting it home within 30mins the fault came up again. I cannot use the internet or emails as my email company has advised there is a serious virus on my computer and must be removed. I even took a copy of the fault that came up on the blue screen. In my opiniion the company is rubbish Keep well away

Home computing solutions have helped me twice now, both times great service and fair price. The…read morefirst time I had a car ECU that part of the circuit track had been damaged and was way too fine for me to solder. I spoke to them on the phone and was confident they could repair it for me so I drove the hour journey and they quickly repaired it saving me a fortune over a replacement. The second was another circuit board that this time had been damaged by a bad previous repair, this time I posted it to them again a prompt repair was carried out for a great price. Thanks guys
