I know that PC world can be very hit and miss with its customer service, however the other day I went in there for a new printer and we decided to go all out on a wireless shiney one. Anyway, we served ourselves on the shop floor, although nobody approached us, we didnt actually need any help so it wasnt a problem to me. When we got to the till, the lady was really really nice and helpful. She offered us the 3 year insurance, which we took but she took the time to explain to us exactly what to do if things went wrong, giving examples of her using the insurance scheme.
All in all it was a very good trip. However I have been there before to get PC's or Laptops and almost walked out in disgust at how long they make you wait. I often know exactly what i want before hand, but the staff try to change your mind and offer you other products and can be pushy about it.
Its an average sized PC world with a Tech guys area, I have used them before and although they havent been able to sort it in store, they got it taken away and returned to us in working order in a week which I was pleased with. read more
