It was such a giggle! I got to make friends with a lovely group of ladies over tea and cake, and then Lisa showed us all how to make beautiful headdresses. Our workshop yesterday was a special (free) trial, but I think this would be SUCH a cool thing to do on a hen party, or a birthday...or just for fun if you have creative, flower-loving friends. Inside there are all the relevant sections for us, paint, wood, tools, nails, etc. The garden section is also very extensive and we have spent some time there in the Spring picking out bits and pieces. My only criticism would be the check-out, it has to be the slowest around. I also had to wait ages for someone to help mix some paint even though there were only a handful of customers in the place. However it is convenient and the prices are good.

A long time of goods from toothpaste to shampoo stretched out in front of me. I stopped in front of the lotions, debating between Nineveh, Dove and Vaseline. I settled upon a purse-sized tub of Vaseline for 1.99. This place sells kitchen, cleaning and bath goods at a reasonable price - probably cheaper than your local Tesco's. There's a fair selection as well. The staff does not shine like the warmth of a thousand brilliant suns, but they're not dull as dirt either. Summary: It's good place to pick up some basic goods.
